theres no reason nolan cant stay if he calls a defense better suited to the current payers and adapt in the offseason.

theres not one shred of evidence this is simply players not executing.

Nolan wont get fired in season and best you cant expect is Nolan getting behind the scenes silent demotion as Marinelli did when Richard basically took over everything accept the DL..Marinelli was basically the Dl coach the last 2 seasons, not the DC.. Edwards or someone will be taking most of the responsibilities in schemes etc IF they feel a change is warranted..

so ridiculous everyone wanted Garett gone and now 7 games in all the coaches need to be fored..so insane.. fans are absolutely living in fantasy world.

this staff deserves 3 years maybe 4 before they are let go..obviously need to see progress but the Offense has been decimated by Injury and the FA DL failed to meet expectations and players just are not picking up their responsibility's ..coaches can not take full responsibility for year like this..its not normal, they didnt get a fair shot at getting any of their vision going in one direction..

if you cant see that you are blinded by an insane view of how the world works let alone the NFL..

Yeah I'm not buying it. I don't like giving these players a scapegoat but these are professional football players. There is a issue here.

I'm not denying McCarthy is bad. I just don't think the whole narrative is being told. When McCarthy was there they never spent money on free agents. Soon as he left they shored up that defense.

I see players out of position, bad tackling , busted coverage like Diggs is scheme? he looked inside bit and got smoked played catchup, thats on Nolan, those chunk yards players were there and simply didnt make the play..Ive seen 23 do this, worley do this , seen holes not being filled by washed out LBs that took the wrong first step, DL getting moved etc etc

blame Nolan , blame Mm but they wont be fired and players will be replaced to upgrade the roster as they are far more responsible for the poor play IMO....

Well for startes, "know it all", I don't want all the coaches fired. I want one fired - Nolan. And this isn't revisionist history either. I didn't like his hiring from the start. He had a poor run in Atlanta and then never sniffed another DC job until his buddy McCarthy got hired here. So right from the start this looked like a poor hire.

Let's talk about the D. If you had one or two players having issues with the scheme, I would better understand this line of reasoning but when the entire D looks confused and struggling, it's kind of silly to try to argue that all the players are dumb or stupid or making mistakes and that the DC is not a factor here. We are 7 games into the season and the same crap keeps popping up. Guess what happened AGAIN in that Skins game? Based on the fact the defense has to make a bunch of reads even right before the start, the secondary/LBs were again confused where half were thinking we were in zone and half playing man. That's coaching when it keeps happening week after week.

Keep Nolan for 3-4 years? That's basically wasting 3-4 years learning something that should be becoming apparent to the Jones and the fans. Nolan is simply not good enough. And even worse, giving him 3-4 years allows him to put his players and talent on the roster and frankly, that's not a good thing either.
