I won’t link the Twitter quote because of language, but Calvin Watkins posted it.

“Zeke Elliott on Ben DiNucci: “He definitely has a little **** to him, confidence, he takes command of the huddle and that's great especially coming from a young guy since you honestly don't know, he hadn't played any snaps in this league up until last week.”

I guess that’s... good?

It's definitely encouraging.

sHUT UP zEKE and go eat something.
Zeke should have kept quiet......says something positive about the young fella (despite what we all expect in his play) and he's still condemned. The base is like some wild animal that eats its young. Damn. Zeke go to JJ this morning and suggest he get you there and tell him and the base to go find them another Fall Guy for the offense.

But ole Andy yelling at people...(let that have been Dez or T.O.)....and we viewing "leadership".......maybe that's why they just looked at him on the ground. Just maybe.

I don’t get the, he hadn’t played comment, you practice with him every day. That’s it he takes control of the huddle? I’m sensing some veteran loyalty.

It's been really sad to watch Zeke this year.

Part of it is the OL being hurt but the fumbles are just so messed up.

And Zeke just looks lost without Dak out there. There was a time I thought when Zeke was suspended and Dak could not get us into the playoffs that Zeke was the team leader.

Now with Dak out we can't win with just Zeke.

Now it's like who is the face of the team?

Who steps up and gets us going again?

This is so weird to me.
This isn’t a surprise to some of us.

Let's see how he reacts in the huddle after he's picking turf out of his facemask for the 25th time Sunday night.
That’s the issue
I think if we protect him he can do some good things
He’s gonna make mistakes but I kinda like his chances of developing into a decent QB some day
But I don’t think he’s gonna get a chance to show what he can do with the oline so beat up

I was hoping they move this game from Sun. nite. I would rather watch this game at 1 pm and get it over with.

Not me. I want the Joneses to wear this embarrassment in a prime time, standalone game. It's better that way.

if the o-line cannot protect him, the outcome is already known. even brady and mahomey look human with rushers in their face all night.

I saw some tweets today where Zeke and McCarthy were talking about DiNucci's mobility. They said he ran 20-21 MPH in some practice drills. If true, that's really fast for a QB. That's really fast for a RB, maybe faster than Zeke himself.

I just don't know why they would reveal this before a game with the Eagles though. Why not let the Eagles find out Sunday night?

From what little I have seen of Dinucci, I like the kid. I think he has a little Romo in him. However, its going to be tough for him to do anything with this Oline.
