Until the defense starts to show more heart and more fight I will pick against the Cowboys every week, especially with the rookie 7th round draft pick at QB. The Eagles are a beat up, banged up team too, but they play hard. The Cowboys have no pass rush, even against the Eagles weak hurt offensive line. So I say the Eagles win by 14 or more points. It would not surprise me if the Cowboys were shut out this week. I like Ben DiNucci but he is nowhere near ready for this game.

We may stand up and play the egirls. I know we didn’t against washington but maybe the egirl hate might make D-Law spark this Defense going after wentz. Have to stop the run first.

Not questioning conventional wisdom that the Dallas Cowboys will get a thorough beat down Sunday.

However, one cannot account for a Herculean effort by the team...plus the ball is oblong and pointed on both ends for a reason...which can change the outcome.

Half the games in any sport would be cancelled if conventional wisdom was 100% correct 100% of the time. Just saying.

Go Cowboys!

I predict the fan attendance Sunday night exceeds the 7,500 that state and local authorities set for Lincoln Financial Field.

27-20 Dallas.

I would give one of my asthmatic lungs or liquor drenched kidneys for a Cowboys win over Philly Sunday night. Sorry I can't do better. Then listen to their radio station for 5 days straight.

This is how confident I am in Dallas’s awfulness; my fantasy QB, the mercurial Kyler Murray is on a bye, so who did I pick up? None other than the mostly terrible, but good enough for 12-15 plays a game to get you 20 fantasy points Carson Wentz. Wentz has been a dud all year save for some bright moments, but against Dallas he’ll be able to run, pass and score doing cartwheels into the end zone while Jaylon Smith jogs slowly and disinterestedly behind him. It’s that bad. And don’t get me started on what the Philly D is going to do to sacrificial lamb Ben The Nooch DiNucci. He’s going to feel worse than Marcellus Wallace before Bruce Willis showed up with the samurai sword. That would be a picnic with 2006 Jenna Fisher compared to what Fletcher Cox is going to do to The Nooch. Pray for mojo. Philly 41 Dallas 6.

38 - 10 Philly.

I imagine the fourth quarter will be like the fourth quarter last week where its basically both teams just trying to get the game over with and get out of there.

Eagles win 52 to 6, with Jalen Hurts getting his first NFL touchdowns

Oh there is no doubt Hurts will finally score against us. He'll probably throw one and run one in.

This game has a Clemson versus Citadel feel to it.

What's the record for points allowed in a game? Season?

Points in a game is 72......Commanders beat the Giants 72 - 41
Second most is Giants 62 Eagles 10

Largest margin of victory is 59
Rams 59 Falcons 0
Patriots 59 Titans 0

Most points given up in a season is 1981 Baltimore Colts 533 points allowed. Finished 2-14 (Yep. I mentioned this yesterday offhand without saying what I was talking about). So far we've allowed 243. We need to allow 283 more....in 9 games. Once Philly hits 32 we're right on track.

But they aren't the team that took the worst beatdowns by points per game.......

The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers under John McKay scored a whopping average of 8.9 while giving up an average of 29.4. Not surprisingly they finished 0-14.

Checking the team that gave up the most point per game:

NY Giants gave up 35.8 while scoring 18.8 in 1966. Same year the Commanders put the thumping on them, finished 1-12-1.
