all these flaws and none of the stats support it...somehow...not sure how and nobody can prove it...except a play here and a play there.....

and somehow, we went from scoring a bunch to 3 points per game.....somehow......

Yeah you would think that with Dak holding the ball too long he'd be sacked a ton.. Especially behind this tore up line.. But he's not.. You would think that being chronically late on throws he's throw a ton of INTs.. He doesn't.. You would think that also think that with all his alleged accuracy issues he would have a low completion percentage.. He doesn't. And certain since he fails to lead receivers they would be among the worst in the league in yards after the catch.. yet before Dak was hurt they were NUMBER ONE !!! As in the best in the game.. by like 150 yards over the next best team. Nearly all the stupid narratives people keep parroting fly in the face of reality. The guy was leading the #1 offense in the league that also happened to be #3 in scoring. But to hear some tell it he was holding us back. It really defies explanation. At least any logical one..

dak is going to be signed. look at us without him. clearly, we can come to the conclusion he was the leader of this team.

again, you are just arguing with yourself....and btw you are losing the argument...

you don't even know what it is you are arguing any more....I think you just want to argue....which is fine, if that's what give you kick!

At least I stay to my argument that 5 years is doable, but the Cowboys cant give him 3 years as there's no flexibility to improve the team.

but but but but, that one throw, in the 3rd quarter at 3.05, 18 yards down field, he should have led the reciever, instead of hitting him in the chest....that's all I need to see to prove he is not accurate..... ;)

The team's fault, but can't rebuild with so many high salary players.

....compounded as next year we cant cut anyone (as we cant afford the Dead Cap) and the moves we can make in 2022 (Zeke/Cooper) will be used to extend Gallup/Pollard. The savings in 2022 from cutting Lawrence and Jaylon arent going to be sufficient to get a decent replacement....may as well play them.

the flexibility in improving the team comes if we sign the right defensive players and draft the right defensive players..... right now with $31M QB salary, we have 7 high priced and 5 mid level contracts....it didn't stop us from signing anyone and it will not stop us from signing anyone....... its again, signing/drafting all the wrong players and not getting any return. imagine if you will, that Lawrence, Jaylon, Smith, Collins, Crawford, McCoy, Poe, Griffin and players like Hill, LVE, gregory, auwzie, would have contributed to their level of contracts and draft status..... the problem is none of them are on the field or neither contributing and some are huge liabilities....injuries happen, I get it. but you don't give a large contract to an injury prone player or draft one.......

if all you are arguing is that a 5 year deal is easier to maneuver around than a 3 year deal, there is no argument...you are arguing the obvious (not sure why)...if you are arguing that with a 3 year contract we can't do anything, then you are obviously wrong.

the question is at this point, after 25 years, I have no faith in Jones being able to turn this thing around. 3, year, 5 year, 1 year......under jones there is nothing but mediocrity.

I just ask you to explain why/how we manage to improve with a 3 year Dak contract.

You say i'm obviously wrong, but you dont actually explain how....your arguments that other teams do it is immaterial, you have to base it on what we have.

Just too easy to say "draft better players".....that's a process, not an overnight solution. Look at this year Lamb (good), Badass (not bad), Diggs (promising in 2 years time), and that was a good draft.

i am sorry but paying Dak is out of the question next year.whats the point of a watching a team crumbling around him one more year. This Defense needs major Fa talent to even be a recognizable NFL defense..
I dont think you guys actually understand what garbage time is
Eventually when you have an elite QB you will have to pay him. It's not Prescott's fault that the FO invested in the wrong players.
