BTW lets stop forgetting that we are not just an injured team, we are decimated with injuries' at every key position on the team and now on our 3rd qb...knowing this but seeing new posts about how we are worse then this team or that one and can be beat by a college team right now , yet , some of you have amnesia to what actually is suiting up is NOT the DC TEAM, its a team fielded to honor the schedule but no where close to the team that was supposed to play..

Its one thing to try and cover up 2-4 injuries to key players but that not the case the entire OL is backups or backup to backups, thats the most important group on the field IMO.. Without them it doesnt matter who plays QB , RB, or WR.. I mean Dak might have made few more plays but IMHOP Dalton would be fine with the same OL dak had the first 3 games but thats changed even more, the blocking so bad they can't run, leads to teams being able to play a simple defense to equally play the pass or run to point where its max coverage and 4 man lines are getting to the qb in 2 secs, no one can function in that type of offense,

sad this board finds every nook and cranny to hate on our own team. Every last keystroke this year is hate posts.

i remember when the Cowboy Zone was more strict and only related to DC posts were allowed, hows this relate we played them beat them and its different team we have now than back then but they mean nothing to us right now,.,

dismissing the injury list we have as an excuse when its the #1 reason we are in a lost season right now..the defense is bad but injuries' have cost us a chance to rebound..it started before game 1 and snowballed but some fans hate are so blind they choose to Omit the obvious,

INJURIES DECIMATED THIS TEAM AND IS THE REASON FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS BEING OUR WORST NON COMPETETIVE GAMES OUTCOMES..SERIOUSLY WAKE UP, I KNOW ITS COMMON TO SAY NO EXCUSES AND NEXT MAN UP BUT THE HATE FOR THE TEAM FROM THE TOP DOWN HAS CAUSE DTHIS PLACE TO BECOME TOXIC WITH HORRIBLE FANS..YOU ALL HAVE NO CHARACTER TURNING ON YOUR TEAM WHEN THEY ARE DOWN , YET YOU EXPECT THE TEAM AND PLAYERS FOR MORE ON THE FIELD..

you aren't changing the owners , FO or structure

so if thats your contention to why you no longer support the team, its time to go that wont change for another decade at least,.

This 25 yeas crap is just that. What do fans expect. They went from the early 80's after losing 3 straight NFCCG's to basically the Garrett years, then to 3-13 under Landry.

From 1998 to 2001 you seen the decline after the triplets were gone and others. What did fans expect an instant contender. A non-whiner knew it would take a good 5 years or more to build a winning team again, especially with the salary cap issues. It was the same as the mid to late 80's. early 90's. But that seems to be forgotten by many.
Just think of this place if it was available back then.

So Parcels builds what looks like could be a winner, but still had a lot of issues. Before he set the team back by going to the 3-4. Wade seemed to be doing well, then they start 1-7. Then Garrett goes through his stuff, then goes back to the 4-3...oh now they need to retool the defense that was never retooled from Parcells.

Anyway, the 25 years is overblown, it was more like 5 to 7 years, before Jerry decided on keeping Garrett longer than ended.

however fans keep on with the 25 years crap.

For myself I take each year individually now. What is in the past is done, why cry and whine about it. Every year is a new year, and I go from there. Sure I hate that we have not won nor gone to the NFCCG in 25 years. But I am not going to make it my life's passion to hate everything and every player or coach, or Jerry. It may consume others lives, but I will not let it consume mine.

I don't get all the hate either, but it is very old seeing 90% of the front page the same old negative crap. I have been skipping over almost all of it. and not responding to it as I normally would have. Wasted energy and time. But also it is the same threads from different posters, presented in a different title. Why not have a mega thread for them. Keep page one for real news.

glad you posted the OP, as I was thinking much of that the other day. However, we both know how this will go.
They will disagree, and start the insults soon.

Yea, I figure if we ever win a championship again there won’t be much to say but How Bout Them Cowboys.

If I ever decide to walk away from this forum that might be the day when critical thinking is no longer required as we return to glory.

But there are some fans who come on here for camaraderie with other fans as they don’t have Cowboy fans in their area to enjoy the success with or discuss their concerns.

I’ve always felt some of the players need their own fan sites too . That might be a great idea for another forum on this site. So Fantasy fans and those attracted to certain players have a forum to discuss and cheer their guy on. Cause some fans just want to cheer .

We are terrible this year, the players have quit, its ok to think about next year and the team being setup as best as possible to have a shot...its not happening this year, and its ok to want whats best for the team in the future, which means losing now....thats fine, it doesn't mean you are a bad fan

This is a bad team. They are naturally going to get criticized a lot. It happens in every NFL town when their team stinks. Of course the board is going to be significantly negative. The team is really bad. The defense is on pace to be one of the worst in NFL history. Now put this in the context of the last two decades. So yeah, people are going to be negative.

Oh and one more thing. The team doesn't magically play better if the fans support them better.

I'm never hateful towards The team, but I reserve the right to express disgust/disdain/dismay for some of the individuals managing/coaching/playing for it, just like I'll express delight/admiration/woo hoo's when deserved.

Bottom line is that those individuals good and bad will be gone one day, I'll either remember them fondly or try to forget them, but The Team is eternal, as is My "claimed" fandom (since 1985).
