Can Ben take the snap from under center? I haven't looked at any breakdowns to confirm this, but I'd think this would help Zeke a lot if we did more of this, and not slow runs from shotgun.

His entire highlight reel is in shotgun. I agree, he needs to be under center.

If Ben DiNucci starts Sunday for the Cowboys, it will be James Madison vs. North Dakota State with Carson Wentz starting for the Eagles. According to Elias, the last primetime game between starting quarterbacks from non-FBS schools was Dec. 9, 2013 when Eastern Illinois’ Tony Romo (Cowboys) took on Sam Houston State’s Josh McCown (Bears) on Monday Night Football.

It'll likely be a blessing if Nooch leaves the game with something resembling his usual mobility!
A close game might readily be seen as a blessing, as well. A win would amount to a SB victory! :muttley:

It is unfortunate he had to be thrown into the water so soon. My expectation he is going to stink up the joint Sunday night, but every now and then he will show a glimmer of the talent he has. The Eagles are not going to give him a chance to get comfortable, which should not be hard for them to accomplish with the two tackles the Cowboys are playing Sunday. I just hope it doesn't damage Dinucci's psyche.

I'd rather this kid sat behind Dak for another year or two, get some pre-season games under his belt, and a lot more of training camp before he faces a team like the Eagles. But I am looking forward to seeing him play - curiosity mostly.
