I'd love to win against the Eagles. But I am not hopeful. By the associative property, Eagles > WFT, and WFT smoked us.

my main concern is more long term: Nooch survives!

You do know that the "Football Team" beat the Eagles already right? And that was with Dwayne Haskins at QB.

I do.

I hope we are competitve and DiNucci plays well.

But ultimately, I hope we lose. And lets face it, the Eagles aren't going anywhere in the playoffs either.

This front office needs all the draft ammunition it can get for 2021. We could have the #2 pick behind the Jets if we lose out.

I say I want to lose out, but when we take the field I cant help but want to win.

Honestly, I get the "wanting to lose" stuff. I know where it is coming from so I waont so I don't understand it. However, I will say, I can't agree with it, not because I think we'll compete or because I think it's right to cheer for wins no matter what (which I do), but I mentally and emotionally cannot "want" the team to lose it just isn't in me to have that feeling. It's like not wanting to breath lol.

I’m just watching a football game. Best case scenario dinucci pulls out his best 2016 Dak impression and becomes a hero. Worst case we improve draft positioning and I get to witness the meltdown on this board for another week. I’m at a point where I’m ok with either outcome.

This!

The only time I wanted us to lose was last year just to get rid of Garrett.

As for dreams of the future, it would be great to see the Nooch put in a great performance and take over the starting job over Dalton for the rest of the year. I have to admit I thought Andy would be better than this, but he was only a temp backup anyhow.

A super dream would be for the Nooch to blow us all away, get two 1st for Dak on the transition tag next year and a bunch of compensatory picks for the guys we let go (Dalton, A. Smith, etc). Then get our 2 starting tackles back and use this plethora of picks to (2 - 1st for Dak, good 1st for this year to start) rebuild doomsday.

Accurate. We are playing with house money. I have no stress going into this game.

I don't fans that want to lose. It's pathetic to me. I'll let it play out and let the picks land where they may. We have plenty of players that are playing for jobs. Would you want to tank so that the team can draft your replacement???
I understand the reasoning, but I do not agree with it, and spare me the cap hit and better draft pick crap. We could have had TJ Watt, but took Taco instead. It's a crapshoot.
Maybe we can lose out and draft the next Ryan Leaf!!! Yippee!!!!!

as much as id appreciate a high draft pick Im not certain these dippys would know what to do with it anyhow. I hate the eagles,Football team and giants. I hate the steelers and niners. I just canr bring myself to root for dallas losses even though it may in the long run be beneficial.

I'm fine with losing if it means getting rid of some players and coaches that are to the detriment overall of the team. Also getting better picks and possibly(prob not)-one day selling this franchise. Of course losing just for the sake of losing is stupid and antithetical.
