With the ridding of 3 players, think others are on high alert?

Actually, I think players are on high alert. I think everyone knew those 3 players were on thin ice for weeks. The play has deteriorated to unprofessional levels by those at the top of the pay scale. I think Jaylon, Zeke, and Tank got a message that they may not be here next year if they do not perform better. Yeah, they got their money so no hit to the pocketbook and some team will gladly sign them. They will have to move and no longer be Cowboys (yeah, might mean little).

I would like to see Jaylon, Zeke, and Lawrence sit the bench for a while to send a further message.
....if you were to cut at least one of them, that would save tons of $$$$ for someone else. Just saying..

..Jerry, Steph and MM sent the message out this week. You don't own up, there's the back door.

Rumors started up with Coop and Jaylon as well, that's throwing more fuel into the fire. Though, nothing happened that we heard. I'm all for shaking things up a bit.

Lets see how the team responds. >>>GO Dallas>>>>>

I am ashamed of Jerry, using these low cap, low performing players to serve as examples.
If anything, the players are laughing at Jerry for ridding these miserable scrubs.
The ahem, "stars" on this team know they are safe. Some would have to defecate on Jerry's wife's birthday cake to be in trouble and even then would be lauded by Jerry for their passion and work ethic.
Blimey, blokes, these poor saps were sacrificial lambs and we all see through Jerry.
who is with me, bland fellows?

They would take that. I was listening to this podcast with a sports agent and he said the nfl has it bad because outside of professional integrity, the way the contracts are set up once the players get it signed there’s no incentive or personal repercussion really in these guys head if they’re release. It’s actually a positive because they get their high guaranteed money and get to get another good contract if they perform which they most likely will. There’s this misconception in the nfl that players have preference to want to finish out there contract where that really ain’t the case. Players understand it’s a business much better now than ever.

just like Dak wanted a shorter contract to get back it o. The market sooner, DLaw or Cooper ain’t tripping about being released. They play a premium position and would love to get another big contract and add to the bank with more guaranteed millions.
Zeke maybe has more incentive to try to play out his contract because of the position he plays

Meh...Jerry and Stephen have sent a message for 25 years: accountability only applies to you, not us.

The biggest joke of a front office in the NFL. They cut three bums they shouldn't have signed in the first place.

No. They were the rats that spoke of fight club. That's why they're gone.

Not so sure how much it would matter to any of them. Griffen went to a better team, Worley worked out for the Bill's and if they sign him then he goes to a better team as well. Cant imagine anyone wanting Poe but he'll probably end up somewhere as too.

With all the rumblings of players unhappy with Noland scheme they can always blame that for their poor performance.

Window dressing.

We can talk when they actually do something with one of 'their guys' and a 'money player'.

This was low hanging fruit.

Let me know when they finally cut that bum Crawford, whose numbers are even more pathetic than Poe's.

Let me know when they bench Jaylon Smith for busting assignments left and right.

Nah Jerry and Son still believe they can win with these Over-Paid Clowns we have.
Come the Spring the some of the idiot fan-base will be talking Superbowl again and Jerry will be smiling.
October 2021 the roof once again will come crashing down putting us in a major rebuild that will take another 3-5 years.
Cowboy football biggest sales snow job since we bought Manhattan from the Indians!

This team won’t respond. They are done. At least on Defense. Our rookie O-Line and The Nooch will do there best because they are trying out for a spot and want to get paid.

No because those players were all mercenaries. We needed to cut an established player to send a real message

Those 3 were the latest adopted children, they're not within the fold.

Every player with a TV tray for Thanksgiving should be on alert but those at the big table are fine and will continue to be protected.

The FO might churn the bottom of the roster, attempting to give the impression they’re “doing something.”

As far as big-name trades/cuts? Won’t happen until after the season — if then.
