yeah guys, don't be so cruel, ....its not his fault his body is giving up but his mind and heart are totally still in the game. As good a player as he has been when healthy, i think his true calling is in coaching. Could turn out to be the next Ron Rivera in five to ten years, once he gets his feet wet as a LB coach and then DC.

To 'TequiaCowboy' - the vast majority of Dallas Fans are not denying his super dedication and production to this franchise; but once the last game for the Cowboys 2020 season is completed ---it must be the last game that Sean Lee wears the uniform he has so passionately \ professionately \ proudly played for over the last decade. He gave it his all....and no doubt Sean will be recognized with a Dallas Cowboys Ring Of Honor in the very near future.

At this stage I don't know what is the point of playing our starters we are going nowhere so let's move up our draft chance

He may get injured
But when healthy he is the best LB on the team
I love Lee, got his jersey and all; big fan. But I seriously don’t know if Lee is the best LB we have. Mentally, yes, physically? I don’t think he can play the way we’d expect even at his healthiest right now.

I think he is making 4.5 million this season. At least make him do something. Throw him in there and let the wolves eat him!

They certainly are. That being said, when’s the last time we saw Lee make a substantial impact on a game?
Injuries are not a choice
Lee would be a HOF candidate had he stayed healthy
His first few years were HOF numbers
12 bits his first 5 years
He’s hasn’t had much impact in last 3 years
But if he can stay healthy the rest of this year he will be the best LB on the field
Lee’s career is about done so he’s not the future
Sadly the future at LB is not on this team even though we’ve spent good draft capital to get there
