honest question, how are we getting Lawrence?.heck looking at the Jags schedule they wont win a single game with minshew out.so that means we will be lucky to get the 3rd pick.

The Broncos are another team that could start to lose and leap us. I need to look at their schedule though. If we are in the top 5 I hope we at least try to trade for Lawrence but I highly doubt whoever gets the #1 pick will not give it up.

The only thing that didn’t go our way was the Pats losing, but a Belichick team will rebound and win some games. With a loss tonight we will be in the #5 it halfway through the season.

I think we end up with the 3rd pick. We wont be worse than the Jags or the Jets. The Jags’ only “winnable” game is next week vs the Texans and Minshew isnt playing

Fields still didnt win you over after the Penn St. game yesterday? I still want Lawrence over him to, but I think we'd be cookin with Fields also....

Nothing or no pick is secured. Teams will listen to any offer and what if Lawrence says he doesn't want to play in New York? I am just saying....not saying he would pick Dallas, but you never know. The difference between a top 5 pick and say one around 8 and beyond is extreme
in terms of talent evaluation. Top 5..means he's going start from Day 1...... Football is funny..teams can win every week and no team is immune from losing or winning. That mentality is the way people have become so obsessed with Fantasy Football and that records mean anything when you play. I am not saying KC will starting losing, but only a few teams are immune from not losing Is Jacksonville gonna win .....who knows, but don't assume that they will not. It only takes one FG, 1 pt to win.. Plus if Lawrence who I don't even know if he has said.....tells the Jets that he will return for Senior Year...I really doubt they would risk it....just saying. Picking 1 and having ur pick go back to college is not a great look. So you never know. In the back of my mind would be ....if DAK doesn't sign a long term to let him negotiate with Jets and trade him for #1. I don't want to do that....but just making sure you check all avenues...and it might be something that might be out there.

You do whatever it takes.

If it takes packaging players, picks, or whatever you do whatever it takes to get Lawrence on the roster. Move mountains.

Lawrence is basically already saying that.

Fields then becomes an easy sell or just building around your 23 year old QB in Darnold that you gave no help to.

If agents get involved anything can happen.

If you have a potential Aaron Rodgers / Pat Mahomes talent you do everything you can think of to get that player.

Dak.. Zeke.. Even Lamb is on the table. You do whatever it takes.

Meanwhile the Chiefs make moves for Mahomes when they have Alex Smith.

Cowboys fans would want to sign Winston and just improve the defense instead of signing Tom Brady because Winston lead the league in yards.

Who would give up on Josh Rosen after 1 year? You can’t draft Kyler Murray.


We need to stop being so “smart” and make some moves or we will stay stuck in the middle.

I agree


Dumb and dumber dont want to rebuild. They will run it back with Dak and a high draft pick and we will be a fringe playoff team once again. Rinse and Repeat
