If Dak stayed healthy I feel boys would have been good enough to win this division at 6-10, 7-9, which would have just masked or slowed down the rebuild process..having them go 2-14 and get a top 3 pick is much better for this franchise..it’s just going to be tough to endure this awful year but we are half way there

I disagree.

Carson Wentz was the #2 pick so it’s possible to make a huge mistake even that high in the draft.

4 turnovers tonight against the weakest defense in decades.

12 interceptions already while also leading the league in fumbles.

DiNucci actually had a higher QB rating tonight.

Wentz is and has been garbage.

The debate between Wentz and Dak is done. Even with Dak being on the pine for now. Miles better than Wentz.

I get the idea, but I would rather have Prescott NOT have to never fully be himself after having his ankle put on backwards.

This team wasn't honestly going to compete in 2020, so yeah, in some ways it was.

Injuries, no preseason.

I mean, let's be honest, why should we have thought this team would be ok with a new coach and no preseason to develop?

This year should be spent on learning what it's got and getting a good pick.

It's only a blessing if this franchise makes the proper evaluations and doesn't squander what looks to be a top drafting position. Not too long ago we thought we were blessed with picks in the top 5 of every round. That blessing seems to be inching closer to a curse.

Zeke Elliott. Many are dissatisfied with his contract and production.
Jaylon Smith. Most if not all want him cut.
Maliek Collins. No longer with the team.
Charles Tapper. No longer with the team.
Dak Prescott. A diamond in the rough but the payment is now due.
Anthony Brown. Serviceable but who wouldn't like to upgrade.
Kavon Frazier. No longer with the team.
Darius Jackson. Preseason Legend that's no longer with the team.

I believe there's an old adage about being careful what you pray foro_O

Wentz was a top pick. Remember that.
So was Derrick Thomas and Troy Aikman. Peyton Manning. I could go on. Yes players don't pan out sometimes but you want to get them when you can and take the chance. 2011 we got Tyron Smith.
