Dak also had the pleasure of playing behind an offensive line that wasn't as bad as it is now. The one time he played behind a bad line was a few years ago when he was roughed up pretty bad. The offense today wasn't the offense that started the year and with the OLine banged up the way it is I don't expect anyone to succeed behind it. That being said, Dak is and will always be a QB who is limited by what he can do. Not really sure why people want to look at him as some great messiah - he does what any decent QB in this league would do - what he doesn't do is what sets guys like him apart from the elite guys.
He played this year with out Smith, Frederick or Collins.

He did it repeatedly and we all saw it.
That's what makes it true.

I don't dislike Dak, but he just isn't a top tier guy.
You're never going to get Dak fan club to admit his faults that he's never gotten over since Mississippi State. Even when you detail them. Dak was right there with the rest of the team in the pivotal games we lost last season playing bad football but it's always an excuse.

He sucked in Philly with the season on the line because his shoulder was hurt. And he gets a free pass. Yet they're the same ones who killed Tony for his mistakes in big games and many of them lie about that like America's Cowboy.

Give the man whatever he wants.

And then complain about the rest of the team not being good enough. Thats the irony that the pay Dak crowd doesn't want to hear.

We want him to get all the money and we also want to blame the defense, oline, or whatever.

If Dak was as good as you think he is there wouldn't be a huge debate.

People don't debate on the type of QB Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Russel Wilson are...

They debate on guys like Kirk Cousins or Jimmy Garropolo.

Dak Prescott is the lightning rod for this convo because the ones that are delusional enough to say pay him also want to blame everything around him for not being good enough. The people you disagree with also agree that he needs everything but there is only so much "pie" to go around.

We'll me and the NFL experts will agree to disagree.

Apparently you saw a different game 16 last season against Philly. Dak was mediocre to bad that game, but you seem to want to make it sound like he played an MVP level game.

Everyone assumed he'd hurt his value and shouldn't bet on himself in case he gets hurt.......him getting hurt might've been the best case scenario for his bank account. This team is a mess.
It's always been a mess. We have just let it slide as fans because we're like the mid 2000s to mid 2010s Bulls with the Baby Bulls and Ben Gordon and then Derrick Rose just good enough to be in the mix never good enough to win it all. Because of bad front office and ownership decisions and nepotism.

He also had a torn ligament in his throwing shoulder and a fractured finger. You conveniently left that part out or maybe you didn't know.

Enjoy the next 10 years of 5-11 if he leaves. You'll deserve every bit of it.

I personally can’t wait for these bums to get what they finally deserve and this goes back to when they decided Romo wasn’t good enough a decade plus ago.

I wish Dak was still the quarterback.
I wish he had to play behind this offensive line for the past three games.

How did Dak become so great all of a sudden? Seems like it was just last year he was choking and costing us the division title.
Yeah, that was Dak.
1-3 this year, 8-8 last year.
He really had the Cowboys on a roll.

Yet you were one of the geniuses that told us that Dalton was as good as Dak and we wouldn't miss a beat.

You mean before Zach Martin got hurt and the OL completely imploded? I’m sorry I missed the game Dak played in when Zach Martin went down and Moore went to high-school play-calling garbage that he had to abandon..

You STILL have not answered my question. I will ask it again:

How did Dallas get Romo a "Championship Roster" by 2016 yet Romo was given the highest contract in NFL history?

When did you come out of hiding? Did the shame wear off?
