This joke offense was simplified for Dak over five years. Dak wouldn’t have lasted in any other organization period. We had all the pieces in place, but we decided to dumb down the offense for this ‘victim’.
If the offense was simplified for Dak why was the offense number 1 before he got and why it can't score a touchdown now. MAKE SENSE!

Reality is, if Moore didn’t decide to try that high school offense, where he had Zeke taking the snap three times, and then go away from it finally, but then completely abandon the run behind ZACH MARTIN and call a stupid reverse, we most likely could have won the game with a garbage DeNucci at QB. Not difficult... I know..

DeNucci looked his best when Moore actually ran the same play calling they do for Dak, including the comeback routes and even he recognized the isolation routes that Gallup had because of man coverage..
And threw the ball out of bounce! You enjoy LYING just like someone we know.

Enjoy the next 10 years of 5-11 if he leaves. You'll deserve every bit of it.
Maybe but with him it will be 8-8. If JJ gives him what he wants good luck surrounding him with talent.

No way, it was only 8-8 because they could surround him with talent to offset his lack of it. Pay him 35 mil and watch as we go 5-11 or worse.

I wish Dak was still the quarterback.
I wish he had to play behind this offensive line for the past three games.

How did Dak become so great all of a sudden? Seems like it was just last year he was choking and costing us the division title.
Yeah, that was Dak.
1-3 this year, 8-8 last year.
He really had the Cowboys on a roll.

The team record on the ultimate team sport is utterly ridiculous in blaming 1 person. So what was your opinion of him when he went 13 and 3?

And Romo’s contract actually gave them 5 million more to work with. He was at 16.8 million but the new contract put him at 11 million the first year. Dallas actually wanted to come to an extension to get more room to work with.
Romo was overpaid considering he was never an elite quarterback. Extending him was a mistake

I expect dak to be 100% when he returns. Just hope he's learned the lesson about the pie.

Enjoy the next 10 years of 8-8 if he stays. $40 million per year will not allow Dallas to build a good defense.

I said then that it was an illusion. I told everyone that if Dak had to start in Cleveland he would already be out of the league by now.
Dak had the best offensive line in football, the best running back in the game, and he was never pressured.
Anybody can stand behind a brick wall and calmly decide who to throw to and have success.
But even then you could tell he would get rattled if he was pressured and he became erratic with his passes.
He's an outstanding athlete, but not much of a leader as far as quarterbacks go.
He had a rookie year that veterans can only dream of, getting to play behind the best offensive line in the game.
But Garrett was so desperate to believe that Prescott would be the guy who could justify his futility as a head coach, he coddled him and the next season wouldn't even play Dak in preseason unless the entire line was in the game.
So, Dak was never exposed until later in the second year, and he has gotten considerably worse as the years wore on and teams understood how to beat him.
Last year he was the reason that the Cowboys didn't make the playoffs, choking against the Eagles when they were basically playing all backups.

Correct. Never pay franchise money to a good player.
Give me one example where it has worked out? Just one!!!
Cousins, Wentz, Goff, Romo... ( this one will burn some people), Jimmy G, Flacco, this list is very long...

You can never pay great players too much.

Tony was a top 5 QB of his time among some very good QB's. Now...before you go A.S. on me...here's is an extremely fair article on his career. You should enjoy some of the downgrading but also have to face some of the praise.

Sounds like your straws have been grasped as well. Can't give Andy ANY credit what so ever for getting his sheets together, eh? Wow.

Posts like this leave me completely baffled.

I think you have to not take things quite so seriously. That post sounded a bit tongue in cheek.

And in fact I found it somewhat humorous. "Best of average" places him what? at or near top ten?

Without any signature (playoff?) wins...that's not entirely bad or baffling. Not like he called him garbage.
