of best back. Zeke's one of the best backs still, but I feel he needs to drop weight. He Needs to play at 223 or less to be at his best. I remember in training camp a few years ago, Zeke out ran chido for a td. That's impressive because chino's the same guy who hawked S Barkley. last year, so he has real speed. He ran with Julio 2 years. Who on the staff can get Zeke t commit to dropping weight? Is he dumb? Does he nt know that the more hits he takes the shorter his career is? More speed means more long tds and less hits.

Pray the Cowboys draft Sewell from Oregon. The team is a passing team now. Zeke is a dinosaur.

Our best team ever was run first and our two most recent best teams were run first.

Because we had, by far, the best run blocking in the league. Nearly any RB could have had a good year behind that kind of run blocking. Murray and McFadden before him had great and good seasons.

As the O-line has declined, so has Zeke and he's just getting more wear and tear on his body. He'll be playing like a 30 year old before he is even 26.

I can't believe that so many people think Zeke is run down. If he had the O line from 3-4 years ago this team and his performance would be so much better.

And they were all top 5-10 run blocking lines. zeke is proving to be below average unless he as a very good O line. Is speed is irrelevant u less he has 10 foot wide lanes to run through because he’s not elusive, he’s not good a breaking tackles, he’s not good at yards after contact, he’s not good at yards after catch, and he doesn’t hold on to the ball.

Any RB with speed and huge holes can be just as successful.

Jerry and several fans were duped into thinking he was something special on his own, he’s not.

Nearly any back with NFL talent could be great behind the 2014 or 2016 offensive line. The difference? Zeke is making money to be GREAT, even when the offensive line isn’t great. Why pay $90 million to a guy who’s only good when his line is good?

Are you ok with Dak making 37m, because he wasn't carrying the team either?

This is a team game, period. And this is a bad team right now.

Great RBs can produce behind average offensive lines.
Cant use that as an excuse for Zeke.
If Zeke wasn't tying us down with that contract I would consider drafting the RB from Clemson if he fell to the second round.

He could be younger, faster, stronger, more elusive, but that's not happening. So you're stuck with fatty.

No, I’m not very comfortable with that either haha. Jerry made a massive mistake in prematurely paying Zeke and Jaylon. I’m sure he’ll overpay Dak just the same
Exactly, Jerry thinks he is buying life insurance policies when he signs those big checks.
Problem is, the big money on this team did not go to elite talent,, this team probably only has one player rostered that possibly has the ability, the fundamental skill set to achieve and elevate to that level.
This is a talent depleted and cap washed roster.

Dak is a lot more important to this team than an over paid diva RB.

I love how once zeke has been exposed without a top line it’s now “a team game”. That’s funny to me because I never heard any other RB’s who ran behind much worse O lines, yet put up similar numbers to zeke when he was running some of the best, get the same excuse.

That theory is only applicable when it benefits the zeke fan boys.
