Oh boy. Bryant get another chance to drop passes. Lets see the last season he played he led the league in drops. He was never what anyone would call a speedy receiver and being 3 years older father time as probably taken some speed from him. So all he has is that one thing that made him a one trick pony and that is maybe he can still out jump a defender. People if Bryant was even just an average receiver he wouldn't have had to wait until now to get a chance.

so silly the lack of knowledge some people have

Dez Bryant's decline coincided with Daks arrival. Dak wasn't a good qb in 16,17 and 18 all the receivers stats went down. Dez ended up being a scapegoat for all the teams problems and I'm happy that he's getting another chance.

Dez took losses harder than ANYONE on our team....so I will always have his back for that. You think Noah Brown is better than current day Dez? Don't make me laugh!!!

I'd say good for Dez. Happy for him.

He has nothing left I'm sure, but it's nice that the Baltimore organization is structured to where they can bring a guy like him in and tolerate and deal with it if he acts up....

Unlike ours where we have to worry about the owner wanting to be liked by the player, and siding with him etc.

Jerry just needs to back off in a certain way, not entirely.

Doubt he will. Still insists on his way. HIM front and center doesnt undermine the coaches.

His decline started in 2015 with Romo, Cassel, and Moore.

That may be but a WR's primary job is catching the ball and his last couple of seasons he played he didn't do that all that well.

Have you watched the Ravens? If he can block on the outside like a TE he's gonna get a lot of opportunities.

FTR, it was mostly a tongue in cheek comment. I don't expect Dez to do much of anything.

I hope he plays well and gets to throw up the X in the end zone. I would love a great come back story for him.

I am glad dez is no longer a cowboy, but he will be fun to watch on the ravens. Their offense setup, should work well for him. Depending on if he gets playing time, and what type of condition he is in.

A good run game, and a qb that scrambles around should help dez get open. Slants, WR screens, dirty yards should do well for him

If he was a really good receiver his entire time in Dallas I would probably wish him luck but he wasn't. In fact his play had declined enough that the Cowboys didn't even offer him a new contract when his was up and just let him walk. If the saints hadn't lost their #1 and #3 receivers in back to back weeks Bryant probably would have ended up unsigned for the entire 2018 season. Good players don't sit unsigned, certainly not until week 10 of the 2018 season and then all of 2019 and until week 8 of 2020. People say he took 2019 off because of his injury but former players who had the same injury said that he was ready to go by week 3 or 4 in 2019 at the latest yet no team was interested in him. I think to many people here remember Bryant 2011 era and not what he was in 2016 and 2017.

The Cowboys cut Dez after dragging it out..you're obsessed with a player who isn't on the team anymore, but you want to make sure you remember "this" about him while he's now with the Ravens? Sound petty like a scorned ex gf

His contract didn't expire he was released after the first wave of FA. Dude holds Cowboy WR records but wasn't a good receiver? We ended up having to trade for Amari bc they didn't replace Dez with a proper #1.
