Because he is fat and slow. But worst of all he is slow and an embarrassment to the Dallas cowboys. Zeke brings nothing to the table anymore. I'd rather go with Pollard full-time, eat the loss, and release tubby...get a good short-yardage back ... Zeke was a total waste of money.

idiotic narrative hes not fat nor slow...and pollard had slower 40time at the combine and doesnt come close on career longs that zeke has had..he has 3.9YPC with 38 carries and zeke having bad year is 3.9YPC at 138 carries, anytime pollard has 10+ runs his YPC drop considerable..hes not an every down back and his feet look like they are movign faster they are not..he might be twitchier but zeke weighs 15lbs OF MUSCLE more then Pollard at the same height..

Zeke better in every way..

Yet Roger Goodell decided to be judge and jury for Zeke's suspensions based off what he wanted to believed.
Not based off what his own investigators reported ..not based off what the local law enforcement reported

That's why Players unions had to act on limiting the Commissioners powers that be in this newest Collective Bargaining Agreement
instead of foolishly replying on " Good Faith' and assuming he will do the right thing.

Earlier you said there was nothing that should have effected his approaching season...that an in-season 2017 suspension shouldn't effect his preparation for it. Is that correct?

Then you just listed numerous "distractions". IS that correct?

I just think Zeke came into the league as a silly 20 year old kid who needed to grow up. I suspect most of us did things at age 20-21 that looking back were pretty stupid. Now take your 21 year old self and hand him 20 million dollars.. How many of us would have handled that any better than Zeke did? 25 year old Zeke is a lot calmer and more mature.. I think the new girlfriend who is a couple of years older than he is and an RN and who Mama Elliott absolutely adores have calmed him down. I don't think he's Party Zeke anymore.. I think he's got a great life, with a beautiful intelligent women in it and that has made a huge difference for him off the field. Sure we'd all like to see him putting up 125 yards and 2 TDs every game but that's not happening on this team with this line and this level of QB play. He will be seeing 9 man boxes the rest of this year so just getting to 1000 yards is going to be a struggle.
