He's big and runs well enough to pick up an occasional first down. He looks like he climbs in the pocket pretty well. He certainly has command of the offense he was running. On the downside, he's going to look a heck of a lot slower running the ball in the NFL. He isn't going to see many pockets to climb up into today. And, while I acknowledge the fact that many of you are better at evaluating individual play, he seems to throw off his back foot a lot. His arm seems relatively strong and he depends on that. He uses body twist without stepping into the pass. That worked in the AAF but won't look the same at this level.
He still looks a lot more promising that DiNucci did last week.
