Very surprised, I remember he was pissed this off-season because they demoted him to back-up plus they had an exclusive rights tag they used on him guranteeing him only minimum salary + he couldn't sign with any other teams

Sucks for Woods *relative to other players*, but that's the way the NFL works. His attempted holdout was just dumb. Was going to get him bumped from the active roster if McCoy hadn't gone down.

He's working on his 3rd accrued season at 27. 29 when he finally hits free agency but he won't be a guy entering the prime years of his career, but leaving them. He'll be a guy that Marinelli might dumpster dive for.

I've been cheering for him since he came here. I like guys who outplay their contracts. But he's not a guy who can afford the entitlement bug it the NFL.
