Idk about the rest of you, but Mo Claiborne forever scarred me and I’m very hesitant to draft a corner top 10.

If I were GM, I draft Penei Sewell without thinking twice. Like another poster said, we start Sewell at LG (and bench that worthless SOB Connor Williams) and kick him out to LT whenever Tron gets hurt, if Tron comes back at all.

I think there is a good chance Tron decides to retire after this year- call it a hunch, but neck and back injuries are pretty damn serious.

Can you IMAGINE a Line with Penei Sewell though??? That OL would go back to 2016-2018 level dominance imo. Do it!!!

if we could somehow get to number 2 we could really ask a team for a lot to Move up.

We still may be able to at 3. Then if you pay dak you can really revamp this defense in one offseason.

Agree, why I hope we can get to the 2 spot. Maybe 1 if jets win tonight but I have a better chance at Mega Millions on Tuesday night.

Best defensive player available! Continue to rebuild the defense...especially if there is a transition to a 3-4

I agree it is a great post. If they decide that Dak is their guy going forward, and wind up with the 3rd overall pick, and get no big trade down offers. The highest rated player on their board just might be Sewell. I love Surtain but at 3 that may be a little high to pick a CB. Which is why picking at 5-10 overall would not be bad as well. In case we win a few games the rest of the way.

Never say never but the smart money is betting against it happening. IDK why but Lawrence reminds me far too much of Chad Hutchinson to draft him.

The smart money is betting against it I agree but I just hope the owner is smart enough to see this opportunity and make a real effort to go get him and not just let things come to him.

Currently being the key word. There's a good possibility that with Dalton back, the team will win the NFC East.

The cost of going up is too high

Honestly, I like Dak a lot but am so down with drafting Fields or Wilson if we have a chance. Gives us the opportunity to build anew.

Yes. Just give him a nonexclusive franchise tag. Any team that signs Dak will be required to give the Cowboys 2 1st round picks. I think the Patriots will be good candidates. Belichick is too old to waste time developing a rookie QB.

Lawrence alone won't be enough. Maybe Urban Meyer as head coach with Marvin Lewis as his defensive coordinator + Lawrence. I think we could win maybe 2-3 SuperBowls with that combination.

Lawrence goes a long way and he provides cap relief as well giving us more ammo to build a team.

we may win 7 of the last 8 and win the division.
Anyway no way we will get a Top 5 pick. Probably in the range of 8 to 16, unless we win the division. Then the best will be 19.
