Drafting a QB would be about the most disappointing thing that they can do.

It means, no matter what, they won't improve in the offseason.

myself after this weekend am more encouraged and will not root for losses. If it happens so be it I'm on the get defense train and lots of it. Id love to see Jaylon replaced or relegated to back up

The former for sure. One and out and picking 27th does nothing for this team. That would be like digging a ditch and once you get too deep, tossing the dirt just hits you in your head because you are too deep to toss it on the sides any longer. That would be this team by winning this division.

one and done gets you 17th pick i heard yesterday but your point is taken

Agree, 17th and this team needs top 5 for sure. A Surtain and Diggs at corner would be great because he is long gone by 17.

Talent matters. How much more dangerous do the Dolphins look with Tua there? Having a higher pick doesn't mean you will draft well, but it significantly raises the possibility that you will get your guy.

We have enough middle of the road guys. we need an elite talent here that will help lead the team. with a higher pick, you raise your chances of that

In what world does having a top 5 pick automatically mean there is a qb that is even worth taking? Unless you land a top 2 pick, there is no qb worth taking 3-5..so this thread is pointless
