They're just trolls looking for attention.
Kind of like you posting yet another "We have to love Dak" because he has led Dallas to a 1-2 playoff record. I don;t think so.

No former Dallas Cowboys QB would say anything different just out of loyalty to the team.
I wouldn't read too much into it.
It's what they would say off the record that matters.
I don't expect an Army dog to have enough brains to appreciate Dak.Kind of like you posting yet another "We have to love Dak" because he has led Dallas to a 1-2 playoff record. I don;t think so.

Considering what Troy once said about not being able to teach accuracy, then backing him after Dak started getting more accurate, I can't agree with this. Staubach wouldn't say **** if he had a mouthful, but Troy doesn't hold back.

He had a problem with leading his receivers for a while, to the point they almost always had to stop or even come back for the ball.Troy is probably right, it's something you develop over time through practice. But I never understood that criticism. Of the things you could criticize Dak for, I never noticed an accuracy issue. That is unless you're looking for perfection, Dak's accuracy never stood out as anything noticeably bad.

Really only on 1 route the crossing routeHe had a problem with leading his receivers for a while, to the point they almost always had to stop or even come back for the ball.
Mostly, but they often had to slow way down on go routes as well, which gave the defender time to catch up. He seems to be world's better at nearly everything now.Really only on 1 route the crossing route
Agreed he still misses now and again but his progress is notedMostly, but they often had to slow way down on go routes as well, which gave the defender time to catch up. He seems to be world's better at nearly everything now.
Hey @CATCH17 and @PAPPYDOG y'all should listen to the experts.

At this point, he is taking up a huge amount of the salary cap without huge results. He has a Rolls Royce price tag for Kia results. At this point, they can’t afford to build a quality team around him with the salary cap hit that comes with him. There are plenty of reasons why some of us don’t like him, but is the most obvious at this time.Out of all the problems with the team Dak is way, way down on the list. I don't understand the hate for him.
I miss Dak too especially since we have not won since he went down. With that being said the comment in bold is so true. I guess we will have to see what will transpire at the end of the season on this one.Following the link that the link quotes Staubach is quoted as saying:
"Dak is well loved by the team. I see that and I read the paper and everything, and I've talked to Dak, I have talked to him since his injury, and he can't wait to get back," Staubach said during an appearance on Good Morning Football. "I told him I separated my shoulder one year and missed most of the season, and it seems like it takes an eternity to get better again but it goes fast. Dak will come back strong. I really feel that he is not only a fine football player, but he has got the team behind him, and I think they really do miss him right now."
Just people putting a spin on quotes that were quoted from other articles. No doubt the next time we read an article using that quote, some doofus writer will headline it, "Staubach: Dak is the Cowboys path to the Super Bowl."
That's just the way the media works.
Realistically, Dak is a fine football player. And maybe he comes back strong. Doesn't mean there isn't a very fine football player that we could acquire in case the worst should come to fruition.
The love for Lawrence is easy to understand. He has been a top QB at every level that he has competed in. For Dallas fans, he would be much cheaper with a higher ceiling than Dak. Dak’s salary cap hit would be higher next year than the next four years of Lawrence’s cap hit. It's not so much the hate for Dak it's the man love for the next Carson Wince, Trevor Lawrence that is so puzzling.

Without Dak there is no playoff recordKind of like you posting yet another "We have to love Dak" because he has led Dallas to a 1-2 playoff record. I don;t think so.
Dalton won the very game that Dak was injured in. Of course that was before the team quit.I miss Dak too especially since we have not won since he went down. With that being said the comment in bold is so true. I guess we will have to see what will transpire at the end of the season on this one.
Yeah Roger said he was a fine QB, that's a ringing endorsement, every team is happy with a fine QB right. Your Daily sad pathetic Dak love post, thanks, now go to your Dak shrine, bow and chant Dak is great Dak is great.Hey @CATCH17 and @PAPPYDOG y'all should listen to the experts.
