Do you as a fan want Gilbert or Dalton to start the next game?

Gilbert.
he seems to have a better arm and release to me.
let him finish the remainder.
Agree, I do think Gilbert appears to have a better arm, but I also saw him throw maybe 3 incomplete passes into a crowd, could easily have been picked Course the same could be said for Dalton about the picks.
Gilbert was more exciting to watch.

I for one want Gilbert to start, it would be more interesting and fun, whether they win or lose.
With Dalton, just hard to get up for that at all. And it wont be fun to watch at all.

I'm playing for next year.

Play Gibert. He's with the team next year. Dalton might win an extra game or two and cost us big in the draft.

Gilbert. Dalton showed me nothing thus far. He might be a tinge better than Gilbert but Gilbert can still get better and might prove to be a decent backup moving forward and now he’d have starting experience

would prefer to see Dalton, think he can still do good with half decent blocking.

Anyone but Dalton, I guess.

I know the team has to play the "best chance to win" nonsense, but let's get serious for a second. The entire NFCE should be a race to the bottom just so you don't have to be the poor soul that gets absolutely embarrassed in the 1st round.

I don't know if Dalton is best or worst for winning or losing at this point. What I can say say is that I'm confident he'll just check everything down because he's seasoned enough to do it when a WR isn't wide open. With a lack of a skill available, I'll roll with a youthful lack of experience just because things will likely be less boring. One of the other randos might be dumb enough to let it fly.

This is what Dalton was signed for so it should be him for a few more games. If he doesn't play well then they should go to Gilbert as he looks like he could be a very good backup QB to hang on to for several years.

So just wondering if anyone else wants Gilbert to start, and did he make the game more fun and exciting to watch for you?
I cant do a poll, so maybe someone else could do that.
Here's how I look at it. I am in Iowa City for the weekend to see our daughter. We are traveling home Sunday afternoon. If Gilbert is starting, my wife is driving and I am watching the game on my iPad. If Dalton is starting, I am driving and listening to music all the way home and I'll check the scores when I get home.

why does this matter so much? it does NOT MATTER whos playing qb if it isnt dak!

so insane the veracity in which those want a one game nfl starter who was a bust until now over a proven veteran yet fans all over the zone go out of their way to rip players like Zeke and Jaylon..right pull for backup QB yet go out of your way to start posts and destroy players on this team that have been drafted and worn the Star and had big time success in this league including the coaches..right pull for Gilbert rip the real cowboys..

par for the course in the zone..

we live in opposite land the black mirror is 2020 ughh:thumbdown::popcorn:

Gilbert. We need to see if he can be the long term backup. At this point, playing Dalton does nothing for us. He won’t be here next year.

You play the guy who gives you the best chance to win. Unless you are Jerry Jones, in which case you play whoever is making more money. The team responded to Gilbert. There isn't one player who looked like they wanted to be out there in Andy's last game. I know desire doesn't necessarily equal talent, but they played like a team against Pitt, and if we hadn't gotten Jaylon'd again, we may very well win the game.

Hard to believe Dalton is such a bust. Everyone (including myself)
thought he was the best backup available. o_O

Gilbert. Play the young guy maybe we can keep him longer on the cheap as a backup. Dalton is gone after this year

Gilbert played as good as Dak would have played against the Steelers; if you let him take a couple more games to see if the Steelers game was a fluke (or not), it might end up saving you $40M worth of cap space and then you could go draft you either Fields or Lawrence to backup Gilbert next year while you rebuild the o-line and defense. It makes too much sense for Jerry to do this but I’m giving GG 2-3 more games.

21/38 for 243, 1/1. Not sure why you think that's as good as Dak would have played against the Steelers. Dak was averaging well over 300/game before he was hurt, with a better than 2:1 TD/Int ratio (I know that's not great, but it's better than 1:1).

Nobody can say how any player might have played in a particular game, so the only thing we can look at is past performance. Based on that, Dak would've played much better than Gilbert.

Dalton should get a chance for revenge. Goes against my desire for better draft picks but it is what it is.

Bigger issue is that the team should look up Mr. Bostic and make an example out of him. Then you have a team playing together and sending a message that they can hand out "fines" too.
