Ill wait for a more credible news source.

At this point we don't need to bring in anyone good enough that will help win games.

Facts.

But in reality, he’s 23 and a former first round pick with a year of film. We know he can play in the NFL. Would pair up nicely with Diggs and allow us to focus on DT, OL, LB, Safety
Lmao ok. Stop focusing on names. Baker sucks

As they should. Let's be honest, kick the tires on everything at this point.

No need to kick tires. The kid has only in played one season. This is a move i would very much be interested in.

So Jaguars, 49ers, Bengals, Chiefs all seem to have some interest. Cannot be too bad to get interest from KC and fitting into Salahs scheme in SF
Interest doesnt mean they get him and worry about other positions because hes so good.

If he wasn't a first round pick with his combine and first year performance nobody would care

Was overdrafted.

Has some ability but needs serious coaching.

Maybe Al Harris is the guy that gets him right.

I've seen stranger things.

I'm just trying to say this guy isnt a finished product or even close.

He is probably worth the risk for Dallas given all else, but once Stephen realizes he isnt going to play for free they will pass.
Todd mccshay and others had him projected as a 1st rounder.

Id suspect most players need coaching up and if the talents there then they should kick the tire because our db position isnt a bright spot.

Hed also come cheap and can be dropped if proven worthless.

The idea that we would even debate bringing in a former first rounder is ridiculous considering the record-breaking 'performance' of our D this year.

We should be signing anybody with a pulse. This should be a slam dunk decision.

Baker may actually cost a few dollars given the interest.

The kid treats every dollar spent on players like it's coming out of his allowance.

Not everyone wants to be a Dallas Cowboy contrary to what they may think.

This is what was said about Baker during his only season, his 2019 rookie season:

"Baker has allowed a 149.9 passer rating (worst in NFL), 629 yards (third most) and six touchdowns (tied for second most) so far this season, per Pro Football Focus. ... "I've never seen anything like it," one player said of the team meeting last week when Baker was grilled in front of his teammates."

Diggs really isn't that far off from this, this year. Would anyone give up on him already?

I get the feeling that Fisher will report that the Cowboys might be interested anytime a player that makes the news is available...
Umm that's every media guy, but I'm sure he knows more than us sooooo yea lol

Yep. Let's see what happens.

I DO know the off the field incident was crap. He isnt some sort of thug.

I just recall fans around here were not at all happy with him getting routinely beat deep last year....but the same happens to Diggs here and there.

I would actually take a chance on him the more I think about it.

He is probably a 2nd/3rd round talent and he can be had for salary only.

It makes sense. Longshot though. I doubt he signs with Dallas.

Our FO is open to "kicking the tires" of anyone who might show hope of lifting our secondary to a more respectable level. Let see if we're ready to accept him on whatever the level of hope he offers. If he's merely a promising backup candidate, he might be signed. If not, he'll likely end up elsewhere. ;)
