Well, now Dak and his reps are going to be even more dug in to their salary demands. I really do expect just another tag year for 2021 and then do a sign-and-trade that next off season. Pride is an amazing and scary thing

They are hedging their bets on Dak's recovery.

Dak has to learn how to walk again after the cast is off in January.

Likely return to football is June/July. He could miss the start of camp next Summer.

Yes.. Because they think football is still the same game it was 20 years ago and believe QBs like Dak are hard to find when in reality the league is full of Dak’s and the difference is the teams around those guys.

We can go 1-3 with a long list of QBs. Or 8-8 like in 2019.

Paying Dak will basically lock us into mediocrity. Too many good QBs with more upside then Dak has playing for cheap on Rookie deals.

No.. These guys see football a lot different than what the actual reality is.

The cracks are there if you bother looking but some of our fans look at football about like the National Media does who don’t watch the games.. Just read the box score and form an opinion based on numbers without looking how those numbers came about.

Dak’s numbers are simply fools gold.

It doesn’t mean I think he’s bad or terrible or anything but they were some empty calorie stats for sure.

I am right about Dalton. I have an entire career of knowing what he is to back me up.

What you guys don’t understand about football is that if the Oline isn’t blocking, the RB is fumbling, and WRs are dropping TDs then it will be very tough for a average QB like Dalton to remain average.

When he had those things he went 9-11 for 111 yards against the Giants.

I dont think anything he said in that interview is really controversial, the only piece that makes it news is that its from the owner of the team. Take personal emotions about Dak out of the equation, and you would come to the same conclusion about Dak that Jerry just laid out. And to be fair i dont think Jerrys intentions were to bash Dak, but the offense as a whole. The slow starts, turnovers, etc. are not only on Dak.

Just looking at the stats isnt a good indicator of Dak, but neither is just looking at the W/L record. Truth is somewhere in between. Dak got plenty of "garbage time" numbers, but he also didnt get a lot of help around him, and that continues to show since he has been out.

Poor Jerry must have tons of frustration built up esp after Todd up the ante after the first 3 dog wins last year.
