I laughed at first not going to lie but....what else is suppose to say honestly.
If the offense hadn't collapsed after Dak went down and we didn't have 30 backups starting games then this team might've been decent by now (Can't say good because they weren't playing very well anyways). Defense is trending upwards but it still not there yet. He couldve worded it better like "This team has the potential be good, but the results just haven't been there" or something. His statement will just get him mocked and torched on twitter by keyboard warriors.

I don’t mind players speaking with confidence in a locker room as long as it’s connected to reality. When you’re 2-7, the talk should be minimal if any at all.
On the other hand, this front office should shut up until further notice. To me, these Jones-clowns are more of a comedy act than an NFL front office. There are more like Martin and Lewis than serious football men. Looking back on just the past decade, the amount of complete BS pouring from their mouths in rivers cannot be seen at this point as anything more than a macabre vaudeville act, complete with clown makeup and rim shots.

The Cowboys have a chance at a playoff spot but are currently in last place in the NFC East. They have lost four games. He ought to just say what he heard Garrett say all the time...."we just have to keep practicing hard and stacking good days on top of good days and it will begin to pay off for us eventually".....nothing stupid....but hey, he's the one getting his head knocked off every game day and i'm on the couch.. So he gets to say whatever he wants to say. Power to him. But yes, the defense sucks.

When you stop to consider Mike McCarthy gives this team an extra three wins this year just by walking on the field in 2020, that means this team would be -1 and 7 after nine weeks if we just had a regular coach. That’s so bad. How do you *not* get it twisted?

i think twisted in a granny knot...you know like your shoelaces, come undone with a pull of one string.....as opposed to a square knot....secure as hell. ...they need to learn the knot system, and might as well throw in geometry to measure angles appropriately.
