This is the 17 year old middle linebacker that’s about to take the college football world by storm next year. From Duncanville High School right outside of Dallas, TX, meet Kendrick Blackshire...aka Thanos.

Yep, and he still has what, 2-3 years of growth........

Sort of reminds me of a guy I went to high school with - Greg Roberts. Was a tight end in high school, 6-4 and about 225, not quite as heavy as this kid.

Went to Oklahoma, saw him about 2 years later when he came back to town during the holidays. Was 6-6 and 260 lbs, offensive lineman, ended up winning the Outland trophy.
Too bad he got into drugs in the NFL and got put in prison.

But not for certain this kid will grow more, I worked for guy who was 5-7 and 175 lbs, holy terror at running back in high school, but when I met him in college he was the same size!

Hey, he's got 2-3 years at Alabama, if we can trade Jaylon for a high enough pick to get him then....

;)

This is the problem right here. There is no damn way the state of Texas should have allowed this kid to get out of the state of Texas. How many kids, just like this one end up at OSU or OU or Bama etc. Losing way too many kids who are top players in the country, to out of state schools.
