Stop the run, they have a chance to win. If Cook gets rolling, we will get our doors blown off.

I think Dallas comes out and plays inspired football and the effort is there— I still just don’t see an Andy Dalton led offense putting up more than 24 points.

If we get some turnovers and a special teams play or two— we can pull off the upset— but I think this is shaping up to become a hard fought L unfortunately

I'm not convinced they'll beat us, but I'm also not putting up any money sayin we'll win. This game will be a challenge for the team & I'm hoping they give it everything they've got.

The Vikings dline is a bunch of no names..but they played very well vs Chicago..I was impressed..I wouldn't be so quick to count them out...

Before the season began, Vikes lost their 2019 starting DEs Hunter (14.5 sacks and on season-ending IR) & Everson Griffen (8 sacks), run-stuffing DT Linval Joseph, and top 3 CBs Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and McKenzie Alexander.

In game 2, key OLBer Anthony Barr went down for the season.

Minnesota then suffered a rash of injuries at CB and has been starting a bunch of rookies and street free agents.

Zimmer may not be a great HEAD coach but he sure can coach up a defense.

So the Cowboys should be well rested and healthier after the bye week but I'm not sure how much healthier with all of the players that they have on IR right now. Offensively the Cowboys are going to go with Andy Dalton which is an iffy call since he's most likely not gonna be in Dallas next year plus everyone seems to like Gilbert as the starter for the rest of the season plus you have a good and cheap back up next year. Defensively the Cowboys have gotten better the last few games but they'll be hard pressed to stop one of the best backs in the league in Cook but hopefully the Cowboys will be able to put enough pressure on Kirt Cousins who doesn't play well against the Cowboys. The worst part about this unit is that Diggs is out for at least 4 games and that kid was getting better every snap. I have very little issue with the Cowboy's special teams except with the new punter so we'll see how that goes. With all that being said I still have to go with the Vikings because even though the Cowboys will play hard and be competitive they just make too many mistakes plus they don't get the breaks that a lot of other teams they play get so I like the Viking in a close but low scoring game.

No doubt about it..he's coaching up a bunch of no names all over the field and they're playing well..

We're not beating the Vikings. They're going to steal our wills.

Vikings 37
Cowboys 17

Agreed. Their offensive strengths are our weaknesses on defense. Andy Dalton starting will assure a low offensive output. I had it at 31-17 Vikings, but only because of the defense showed some signs of life last time.

Least!
Take 10 points off the cowboys point total and add it to the Vikings.
33-7 Vikes
There, fixed it for you.

Has Dallas been a good team at any moment of this season? Minnesota is going to bully this baby bunch. I see a blowout and a physical beat down.
this is how i see it also. this team has been outplayed on both defensive and offensive line all year. they played a little better against the steelers but the vikings are really running the ball well. i see the viking racking up rushing yards and i see the cowboys struggling to even get above ten points. 28-13.

Yea this is about right, but a couple things.

1. The Vikings can beat themselves just as easily as the Cowboys can.
2. Chido is back, so that's still a net gain even with Diggs out.
3. The Vikings DL is atrocious, the weaknesses on the OL shouldn't be nearly as much of a problem as they have been .

There's really no end score that should surprise anybody.

what are turnovers i do not know if this team knows how to get turnovers. the eagles game was the first game but last game against the steelers they had no chance. then again cousins always seems to give the ball away against the cowboys.

Well offensively...

Zimmer's NFC Championship game with Case Keenum is my point of reference to any one whoever tries the injury excuse.
-Previous year's whole offensive line replaced with 5 new bodies
-lost QB1 Bridgewater for the year
-Traded for and lost QB2 Bradford for the year
- lost RB1 Dalvin Cook for the year after having released Adrian Peterson.

All happened in the first 2 or 3 weeks of the season.

Doesn't happen every year like this, overcoming multiple injuries by most teams.
But sometimes things come together.

So yeah,
Zim has proven he can overcome major AND multiple injuries on either side of the ball.

And yet the D being worse this season is because of nepotism, or so I read.

Does the NFL have a point maximum spread like say 80 points before they call the game? If so, the Vikings are going to hit it. :muttley:
