With how bad Wentz is playing this year we have to be considered favorites to win the division.

Time will tell, but at least the remaining games will be meaningful.

I have to be honest I do not understand the eagles. They are not as injured as they were early and they have their qb and defense in tact essentially. They have zero excuses for the poor play.

The eagles should have 6 wins already and the division race should be over but they are absolutely pathetic and I as a fan of 35+years of watching football do not understand what their problem is.

Doug Pederson deserves respect for how he has won a Super Bowl.

but they abandon the run over and over and over again.

they did it again today. Ran the ball down the browns throat. Then come out the next drive and throw 5 straight passes leading to an INT. In heavy rain.

it drives eagles fans crazy.

but I love it.

Wentz leads the NFL in fumbles AND interceptions.

That’s a huge problem for the Eagles, especially when they are paying him $31 million per year.

If you lose the turnover bottle consistently. Nothing else matters in the NFL. You can’t sustain wins.

oh and look the cowboys actually won the turnover battle today because the defense forces a couple and what happens? A win.

Let’s see, you subtract Frank Reich and John DeFillippo, and suddenly the playcalling looks a lot different. Couple that with the injuries on the OL, a QB who has taken a lot of hits and looks shell shocked, and you have the Eagles offense.

I think that’s the bigger issue. I genuinely get the sense his team doesn’t care for him. They really fought hard for Foles when he came in as a backup. They don’t seem to try as hard for Wentz for whatever reason. Like they don’t believe in him. That’s one thing Dak def brings. Whether he can actually do it or not is another matter, but I truly believe his teammates believe in him.

Has this board actually devolved into creating excuses for Carson Wince? I swear, some days it seems he gets more support in here than the actual QB of the Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott, who happens to be the superior QB at this point in their NFL careers.
