I don't mind how the Cowboys draft. In general I think it's something they are decent at when compared to most of the league.

I think they do an average job. Which is why they are an average team. Jerry likes splash bling players that line his pocket. The zeke pick was dumb when our secondary was and is trash. Passing on JJ Watt for taco was monumentally stupid. Picking Zach instead of Johnny football was great and CeeDee was great it appears.

If they get solid football players in the right area we will be fine especially if everyone comes back healthy.

That is why I want them picking higher..

Winning the division and thinking this team can do anything in the post season is just screwing yourself over in the future.

Dallas needs players and if you're going to moronically sign Dak while also paying a RB and a linebacker thats terrible for that dollar amount then you need quality players for cheap.

The goal is to win Superbowls. Winning the division just helps maintain being in the middle. We need to be terrible.

I guess you just glossed over the point of our discussion but I guess when your mind is set its set. We've picked higher and it don't matter because they don't always use it correctly. Oh well this discussion is futile we can just disagree and move on.

Im going to root for divisional champs and see where the cards fall.

We need a corner and a LB bad so that’s a good place to get one. Later in the top 10.

We’re in a baaaaaaad division man. If Philthy had a better QB they might have a chance but Wentz is that bad. Washington is a mess and the Giants have seemingly improved but they’ve beat Washington twice and Philthy once so they’re not exactly setting the world on fire. I just give them the benefit of the doubt because they have a good defense and have played a lot of very close games against very good teams.

The division may come down to the season finale against the Giants.

The hard thing is this: we're not drafting a QB even if we're in the top two. Dak is who this FO wants (at least for another year). The next best prospect is Sewell who would be my choice at #3 even though it's not a top priority.

After that, it becomes more blurry about best fits and where. If Dallas actually had a #4/#5 pick, I would definitely be trying to trade down anyway.

Getting sick of seeing those mocks of Surtain II at #4 - I'm not drafting any CB at #4 ever and there's no Deions anymore.

The thing is, after the top 3, nobody is trading up in this draft as players with have similar grades.

After looking at the Giants schedule I retract all statements about the Giants possibly competing with us for the division, we’ll win it, hands down.

We have Baltimore and SF who is a mess.

They have Seattle, Baltimore, AZ, Cleveland as notables. Good chance they MIGHT win one of those games, if they win more than one they are indeed improving. Regardless, they’re not winning 3 of 4, even 2 would be surprising.

Just like the Cowboys, winning brings confidence. It is looking like both the Cowboys/Giants are trending upwards, where Philly looks like they are going in the other direction. This week's game will determine the team's ultimate fate.

I love the draft but a top ten pick isn't always a blessing. Lamb could have easily gone in the top ten this year.

The Niners are very well coach team and have very good qb. Jimmy G might be back that week. That might not be an easy win.
none of our games will be easy we've been playing with backups all year..the Niners are more beatable then they were when the schedule came out..gives us hope but lie yesterdays game, you never know..

it will be struggle every game without or Tackles, center, and dak...

I don’t think there’s a chance in hell we lose to Washington and even if we do, based on the Giants schedule I still think we win the division.

Agree but Alex Smith has been playing very well the last two games and that defense is very good. Our division is just so bad this year though.

Why??????? Nothing in this draft projecting a top 8 defensive player is any better than a top 15
You can go OT here and still get quality in the other rounds. It's a cumulative loss of position. Also, if your targeted player is gone, you can trade back and pickup more picks.

It's a matter of if we have a real possibility at a SB. If not, you want to get the better pick.

They beat us badly the first time around with Dalton.
