Dalton was pretty good yesterday.. He really managed the game nicely.. I hated the INT in the red zone.. and he scared me to death on a couple other throws.. Even the TD to Schultz I thought he might have been better served to take a little off of that throw .. He gunt that sum***** in there and if it had gone through Schultz's hands would not have been a huge surprise. The other thing that bothered me was the he was waiting for guys to break open before letting the ball go and not throwing it on time.. The 4th downer to Cooper was waaaay late. Almost gave the DB time to make a play.. Let that thing go quicker and Coop may have room to make a move and take that baby to the house. But I aint gonna hate.. Clearly some of that was the result of the time off. Dalton gets a solid B from me for yesterday. I need him to give us at least that the rest of the way. If he does, we will win 5 of these last 6 games and go into the playoffs on a respectable run.

I agree. I can't imagine a reason why he would not improve, as he plays with these receivers, and learns their tendencies and skillsets more, and maybe that helps with some of his problems

about what?

They’re so in the pocket of Dak that they hope for Dalton to fail, so they can heeeehaw about it afterwards.

If you think I’m reaching then you need to check-out the game threads where every other post is some sarcastic wise crack or I told you so “oh, I thought Dalton was better than Dak?!?!?!?”

Yes give Dalton some credit he played a good game, the whole team played better, it was a good win. Lets hope they are figuring some things out as this Thursday game will come with a much tougher defense and this O-line needs to hold or it will be a rough night. The defense should carry the load and thats as iffy of a situation as you could get. Dalton if given time (big if against the DC Dline) will be fine.

At most there are a few extremists who make some noise, just as there are a few extremists on the anti-Dak side, but far and away most people who believe in Dak were good with Dalton stepping in and doing what he was paid to do. Most understand that's the point of a veteran backup like Dalton.

I am typically nowhere near the computer during games.. but I would wager most of those wisecracks are trolling Dak haters as opposed to rooting for our favorite team to lose. I don't root for any player on my team to fail. Because doing so would be rooting for my favorite team to fail. Not hapnin.

Yeah the good news is that The Football Team doesn't have near the offensive weapons the Vikes have. If the defense brings the same level of intensity and effort this Thursday it won't take more than 17 points to win this game..

I agree I only worry about turnovers, if we can keep it super ball protection we should be able to grind one out. Again thats assuming the defense comes to play again...I think they will

That may just be payback for 4 years of goal post moving on Dak. First he was a bus driver who leaned on the run game, then he couldnt throw for 400 yards, then he couldnt throw for touchdowns etc. The hatred for the man no one here personally knows is laughable. If Dak played how Dalton played yesterday. I guarantee there wouldnt be a thread of appreciation for him. Dak is graded on an impossible scale. So. Dalton should be to. I am happy we got the win, but I am not impressed by how Dalton played. Lamb had to lie down in midair to catch the TD. LOL

True. I have had to block a number of posters for their immature nonsense.

There you go again, making up more BS because you've already lost the debate. No one likes losing, much less accepts it. Stats is a part of the game that PROVES PRODUCTIVITY. Dalton is nowhere near in Dak's league when it comes to PRODUCTIVITY. That's just a FACT. It takes a team to win a game: FACT. Stats show one's productivity: FACT. Dak > Dalton: FACT.

You're hatred is blinding you to the facts.

But FACTS don't win games and the only stat that matters is the final score.
