This was a really good WR class. I'd probably rank them right now - Claypool, Lamb, Jefferson, Higgins. But you could probably argue any of the bunch. Claypool's 8 TDs receiving (10 overall) is crazy at this point for a rookie.

As good of a season as CeeDee is having, I'll go out on a limb and say he would probably still be leading all rookies in catches and yards if Dak never got injured. But he still has an outside shot at the Cowboys' rookie record for receiving yards if he can put together a couple more good games.

Doesn't matter, he'll be hated the second he gets paid.
Enjoy these halcyon days.
Not if he plays at an elite level.

Nobody has any issues with elite players being paid elite money. Even Belichick does that if it's correct to do so e.g. Gilmore. But some fans do not want average/solid players being paid elite money as that's when teams knee cap their Superbowl chances in a salary cap era.

If Lamb stays healthy, he probably won't be hated. When we sign him he becomes #1 as we move on from Cooper. Makes highlite catches. Has positive body language.

Cooper gets dogged while he keeps producing under double teams. He's still our best WR, and is the straw that stirs the drink. Extroverts dog him because he's an introvert. Lamb doesn't face that prejudice.

You are underestimating hate. When you get paid, like Cooper did, fans make up reasons to hate you.

Someone won't like Lamb because he smiles too much or because of the first-down signal that he makes or because he has dreadlocks.

A flippant remark

As a Cowboy he will be because it is unlikely he will win a SB

If he wins a SB he won’t be “hated” if he gets paid

you think Cowboy fans hated the triplets or Chiefs fans hate that Mahomes got paid?

Win and you will be loved no matter what you are paid

this team is disliked because they preen having won literally nothing of consequence

And Philly did not get any of them :D

The clip that surfaced of the Vikings Zoom meeting during the draft where they were stunned and celebrated after Philly took Reagor was priceless. They were stunned Jefferson didn't get selected by Philly.

Me? That seems unlikely.

Lamb has been one of the very few bright spots on this team this season. There is not much legit criticism that can be directed his way.

Some who are just envious of others with more money, but doubt most fans will if he keeps performing. The issue most fans have is Jerruh overpaying someone like Jaylon who is not a top performer, so it appears to be a miss allocation of resources, and undeserved. Good on him for getting Jerruh to do it, but don’t think he is living up to his end of the bargain.

It takes some receivers a little longer than others to adapt to the NFL but I like our guy for sure.
