A young team with talent getting better and going 8-8 and sneaking in is not the same as a team sneaking in just because the whole division is bad
A really good draft, a healthy team and we could have a good team next year
A big part of this years problems are injury related
Many of those will be back
A good draft could really change this team
There is a huge difference picking in the top 10 and picking at 18 or so

It would be no big accomplishment to win the NFCE this year. It would only prove that they stink less than the other turds, but they will still be a turd. Maybe they can set some kind of playoff record for being the worst team to ever make post-season play before they are one and done.

I would love to see the Cowboys win the division with a 6-10 record and then go on to win a couple of playoff games against better teams.

I don’t see that happening but it would be so memorable if it did.

Unless I am mistaken, none of us are playing for the Cowboys, so it is impossible to be a loser when you are not even playing the game. Your “loser” label just don’t carry much weight unless you are into immature name calling and personal insults.

But that’s the hand 2020 has dealt us
As is, this team will be lucky to even win the worst division in the league so winning anything meaningful is not gonna happen
I’d rather improve the team for next year when we may have an actual shot

In the first round we play the Rams, Cardinal, or Bucs at home.

Second round, the Cowboys play New Orleans without Brees.

Championship game against Wilson or Rodgers.

Super bowl rematch with the undefeated Steelers.

This really messes up our rebuilding process.

After watching some of our drafts there is no guarantee that a top pick will magically transform our team into a contender so I dont care how we get to the playoffs . If we can get there anything can happen . We have the unique opportunity to start on Thanksgiving and turn our season around .
With the games that remain, we have a decent chance of winning most of them except the Ravens game IMO but we have to beat the Skins as they have a fairly easy schedule from here on and could keep us from winning the division .

We have enough talent on this team to do this. Getting them all to buy in and play hard to get it done is another story and a job our new coach should be able to accomplish with the teams we have left to play

We got this! I suspect we'll be hosting the Seahawks in the first round of the playoffs. Not having Dak for that game makes me nervous but then again, if Dalton can get us there, I will feel better about him.

And backing into the playoffs does much more harm than good

Yeah if we make the playoffs I'd rather us win out the rest of our games and have a 9-7 record. Then I'd be fine with the 19th pick. I'm scared we're going to go 6-10 or possibly 5-11 and won the division. That's the worst case scenario IMO.

If we make the playoffs the game would have the highest rating. I noticed the talking heads opened their shows talking about the Cowboys even though Mahomes had a last second drive win. Our team runs the NFL. Jerrah knows it.
