Hard enough to come into the NFL from a small college program and really shine, some have of course like McNair, but it's even harder to come back after playing well, bad habits are notoriously hard to break. Once you get in a bad rut, you better get out quick or you'll probably never make it.

This is a weird year, don't think you can take what's happened to Wentz this year and say he's done as far as being a good NFL quarterback. Would really need to get back to normal football things to tell that, imho...

Honestly wonder if he's truly fallen this far or he's trying to do too much.

Carson Wentz leads NFL in interceptions, fumbles, sacks

Sacks aren't something the quarterback can do a lot about, that's more an o-line thing, the other two are more under the control of the quarterback, so I'd not include sacks in with the other two.

But that's just me...

Wentz has zero pocket awareness and some of the sacks he takes are ridiculous . In his case he’s making his O lineman look bad.

Yeah but that's not all the time, no o-line blocks perfectly every snap, and sometimes it's just not possible to block a rush, especially a blitz.

But I can see the rationale for including sacks, I just wouldn't do it...

As bad as Wentz has been, Jameis Winston owns the title of human Apple turnover averaging 1.86/turnovers per game (138 total fumbles/interceptions).

Wentz has averaged 1.62 turnovers (109 total fumbles/interceptions) a game in his career which is insane.

For comparison sake Dak has averaged 1.07/per game (74 total turnovers).

I watched some of the Eagles-Browns game and he was just terrible. I'm not sure what people's fascination is with him. Just in case anyone was wondering, his contract was a massive mistake by Philly. Its going to keep them in the dumps for years.

People keep calling out Wentz slobberers but I never actually see anyone defend him. Why are some of you obsessed with this guy and why does he keep appearing in the cowboys related section?

The guy is shell shocked at this point. He watches the rush more than he watches his receivers downfield. Conversely, the Eagles have done a really poor job of assembling a good receiving corps. Fulgham has been a nice surprise, and it's too early to make a true assessment of Reagor, but Arcega-Whiteside is a stiff, Greg Ward is replacement level at best, and DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery can never stay healthy. Their WR group is as bad as any in the league.

He is better out of the pocket. I do remember he won the east last year without any wrs and injuries galore. I think drafting hurts messed with his head.

And yet. They refused to move up for Lamb so they could draft Jalen Hurts lol

Loved Colin Cowherd yesterday Finally admitting that Dak is the life blood of the cowboys and Wentz just sucks after years of Him saying what an elite qB Wentz was and how much Dak sucked .
Cowturd said that? He finally admitted he's been dead wrong all of these years? Do you have any video or a link to click on?
