Noticed last week too. They have different SOS's for the teams that other sites are using.

It's NFL.com so you'd think they would know what they are putting out.

It's basically simple math so not sure why sites are reporting different numbers.

You know I dig it because it puts us in perfect range to draft:

I’m seeing we’re picking #4 on other sites.
So I reached out to the owners of the Tankathon website, who currently has us 4th and with an SOS of .472 versus NFL.com, who has us 8th with an SOS of .535. They stated they use the SOS of all 16 opponents whereas the NFL's current SOS is based on who they have played so far.

Is Farley checking all the boxes as far as injuries? I know he missed quite a bit of time due to injury, was that a one time thing he's passed, or has it been an ongoing issue?

With how weak our remaining schedule is I could see us winning the division and dropping all the way to the late teens.

Give me the guy who has played Vs elite competition in the SEC and dosent have any health concerns. Surtain for me, if Parsons isn't available. The way the division is right now, I can see Dallas winning it and moving us up to the middle of the first unfortunately. Were gonna be stuck in mediocrity for an eternity.

I’m partial to parsons surtain or Farley. And I don’t think we need top 5 for any of them.

yea, im fine with any of those three where we will likely be picking

with a top 4 pick, those seemed like reaches but i didnt want another o-lineman

2017: Redshirted after suffering a knee injury during preseason camp.
*this also coincided with the passing of his mother. Not that it explains the injury, but might have contributed with him missing the entire season as far as staying home with his family.

2018: Played all 13 games at Corner, despite never playing the position. He was a high school QB and recruited to Va Tech as a WR.

2019: Played in 11 of 13 games. Missed last 2 games due to pinched nerve, had procedure to repair it.

2020: First NCAA player to opt out, stated could not risk coming home sick and losing his father. He's got a staff (strength, sprint, DB guru) working with him around the clock preparing for the NFL.

Exactly my thought process as well. You don’t need top 5 for those names and if you did it would be a reach. Parsons combine could help him tho

That is my concern with him also.

I believe Farley is the best fit opposite Diggs. I'm worried about the long speed with both Surtain/Horn, which is also a worry about Diggs. We need a corner who can matchup against speed.

The only way that I can see getting value for picking a CB in the top ten is if the CB is a shut down CB and I am pretty sure that there is not a legit shut down CB in this draft. CBs seems to have higher bust rates than QBs . Remember the last CB that Dallas picked in the top ten.

Looked at what I could find of Farley online. He really flashes some instincts. He's got that "in the WRs pocket" ability. Even in his highlights though, you can see just how raw he is. Can the Cowboys afford to spend another premium pick on a player this raw and hope he meets his potential? I just don't know. Honestly, the more I look at prospects, the more I think if the Cowboys can't get Sewell, they're really better off trading and picking up capital for next year. I just don't think there is much formative, blue chip talent in this draft. At least not where the Cowboys need it.
