Are we lucky to have Dallas football on Turkey day?

This season when we suck, sure, because I can just relax and watch. Normally, no, as I don't like being stressed during Thanksgiving.
..lol..know the feeling. The Romo days Thanksgiving games were stressful..;).. At least to me.

For whatever reason, the Cowboys did not play on Thanksgiving in 1975 and 1977. The Cardinals replaced them both years and got blown out twice.

"I don't mind it when stupid people say stupid things. Stupid people should be encouraged to say stupid things, that way we always know who the stupid people are." ~ Ted Nugent

Don't know why that :flagwave: over anyone's head.
Thanksgiving we play the Washington Football Team (years past were Commanders).

.... I believe so. Ever since I can remember, Dallas and Turkey have gone hand in hand. Its like a special privilege Dallas fans are accustom to. I've even sensed jealousy from people knowing Dallas plays on Thanky Day. Does anyone remember how this came about? Or when did it start?

....;).... Go Cowboys.. :starspin:
I’ve always loved watching my Cowboys on Thanksgiving. God. Family. Feast. Cowboys!

Absolutely. Even though the Cowboys are a laughingstock it is a great tradition.

I would enjoy thanksgiving football without cowboys...but it is indeed extra special...one we have earned.

MST 3K, Cowboys football and me getting drunk and fat. America.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I don't think Thanksgiving would be the same for me without the Cowboys playing. Perhaps it's because I've never known the holiday to be any other way? It's a treat among the rest of the treats on that day. Especially when they win, it's like Christmas.

We would be lucky if the NFL didn't make Dallas play on the road prior to Thanksgiving Day. I think they are trying to turn an advantage into a disadvantage.
