The list of holes going into 2021 is a lot shorter than 3 weeks ago

Eh, don't get sucked in like the FO usualy does thinking they landed a keeper over 2-3 weeks of decent play.

THIS...THIS...THIS

Stop falling in love with JAGs, assess every and all players for their viability for the future. Take Donovan Wilson for instance, he's made some plays but to pencil him in without looking to see if we can upgrade that position would not be doing your due diligence. This front office falls in love with their own personnel decisions, and project good to decent play from a player to being he's going to be a viable starter.

Just think what could have been Wilson and HEATH ( the goat) with Woods thrown in. SUPER BOWL

Assuming Dak and the OL all come back healthy next year, the list of huge holes on this team is a lot shorter than we previously thought.

I really only see 3 MUST fills

1) CB opposite Diggs. - Brown can be in nickel and be servicable.

2) X Woods - Wilson has brought value to the opposite safety spot so we only need to fill one

3) Jaylons role - He’s not going to be cut and there’s probably a way to make him have a decent role like using him as a human missile on passing downs. But it would be nice to have someone equal to LVE playing next to him.

So while yes it would be nice to have a top 10 pick, seeing players on the roster develop is better than being in a spot to take rookies that will need time to develop also.

Wilson has potential but is not guaranteed. Diggs isn't even guaranteed. They probably do reink Brown though, cut Jaylon and walk away from the rest. We need another safety and LB for sure.

And a run stuffing DT and LT of the future. I agree with the OP, but we also shouldn’t start trumpeting playoffs! Truth lies somewhere in the middle.
And we can get both in the draft. Especially with a top 10 pick. There are multiple T players worthy of a top 1/3rd pick. But, there is also Kyle Pitts who I think will redefine the TE position.

One good game doesn't change the overall body of work they've put together. Which is 3 and 7.

Let them put together a win streak before we anoint them, but last week gave some hope back to me as a fan and I love it

We have a Grand Canyon sized hole at GM. The rest dont matter as long as that exists.

Assuming all of our injured players come back healthy next year, we really don’t have any holes on offense. Of course that’s a big assumption. Some of our backups on the Oline are getting a lot of experience this season, which bodes well for next year. Still, we need to start looking for a replacement for Tyron since he’s had so many injury issues. Defense? We need a high pick at the 1 tech, safety, and LB. Corners? Depends on who we let walk after the season.
