Kelce, Schwartz and a handful of other high-profile athletes, such as Dwyane Wade, Victor Oladipo, J.J. Watt, Dak Prescott and Ryan Tannehill, invested in the hot sauce as part of private-equity firm’s L Catterton’s purchase of the brand in April 2019. L Catterton and its initial investors are expected to generate a massive return of roughly four times their investment, according to one source; the negotiations were first reported Monday by the Wall Street Journal.
4 times? That's pretty good.

That's awesome for Dak. I'm glad something worked out well for him especially after breaking his ankle. Recovering from a serious injury is a little easier with more income coming in.

Did he not have enough money before the injury? He's on a 35 mil tag if I remember correctly. He was hardly stressing from the cost of medical bills.

So he invested $500K and turned it into $2 million? $50K into $200K? $50 million into $200 million? $50 into $200?

Private equity investments vary greatly.
