Even this doesn't give me hope because of their inability to scout proper defensive players. I'm telling you man, I feel more hopeless about this franchise now than I have my entire life.

Skins are showing life. Chase Young looks like a transcendent player. Their coach is known for building physical teams. The Giants also are showing life and are playing hard. We've ate good off those two teams the last decade, not anymore.

I keep hearing how things will improve when we get injured players back.
There will always be injuries, and lots of them. If he doesn't retire I see Tyron playing less than half of next year. Lael is looking frail as well, don't look at him as a cornerstone player. Martin is showing signs of wearing down as well. Where does that leave this vaunted oline that Zeke needs? Gee, other than that the offense is OK right?
The defense? It will take at least 2 very good defensive drafts to fix that black hole. Do you think Jerry is capable of going through that without signing the next rehabilitation project? I sure don't, there's just too many holes on both sides.
And to top it off our next head coach for years is already on staff.
That is what we can look forward to.

Dak was lighting it up each week he will be back. So will all the hurt players. You can't win in this league with subpar QBing and more UDFA's forced into starting each week. It's easy to see how this team will be significantly better next year.

Beat hapless Cowboys

All 4 of those teams are at the bottom of the power rankings and the Football Team went just 2-2. Next week they play the Stealers. Let's see how much life they have then.

No, we are unbelievably snake bitten this year. When you cant keep the back ups to the back ups healthy what the hell can you do?

Until that 4th quarter implosion we had actually played strong football against tough teams, WITH our junior varsity squad. (The last few games at least)

Back up to the back ups on oline, and we cant even keep them healthy. Back up qb, who we also haven't kept healthy. Secondary decimated. All that usually equals a loss. There is no way to gauge this team based on this year, because this is no where near what the actual roster looks like.

Yes there are holes, but its not as bad as some say. Hopefully we have a better off season next year...

I have to apologise to Aaron Rodgers. I thought when he and Mike split it was aaron just being a crybaby. . I was wrong. I thought McCarthy was a good hire. I was wrong. We were out coached in every phase yesterday again. Capped off by the worst fake punt/call I've ever seen in the history of football.

I watched this Box of rocks trying to explain the punt fake at his presser and thought I was going to throw up. He is a complete moron.

I've loved this team for over 50 years but if we don't win another game this season and these guys all get canned id be thrilled.
Time to blow it up and start over.

Going to lose the QB and the adult in the FO as well. I agree. This has the potential to get really ugly.

What's ironic at best is many fans/posters screaming for a high draft pick, even tanking but complaining how bad we are. You can't have both ways.......just can't.

Nothing wrong with this team that a couple of blue-chip rookies, few free agents signings, and healthy returning starters can't fix. A bunch of teams with experienced vet coaches are struggling ( Ravens, Bucs, Pats, etc). Just me, but this is the year to truly evaluate a coach and/or team. Waay too many issues beyond their control.......

Yep. Another CZ member made the comment, Aaron Rodgers must be the GOAT. He won for like a decade with THIS coach.
I was not a supporter of this HC or staff from the beginning and agree with all that you posted here.

And it wasn't just the fake punt. It was the 4th down pass attempt, And letting one player destroy our defense and not adjusting to it. There was a play later in the game where Smith spins around tosses to the flat the guy who killing us is standing wide open not a cowboy defender within 10 yds.
This cannot happen on the NFL level Changes have to be made
