I dont think Cedrick realized the play was supposed to be a pass, he ran the play like it was strictly a reverse.

Maybe he never threw it in practice, maybe our guys never came up to tackle him in practice so it spooked him when he saw defenders closing in on him, LOL.

I wonder if it was that big of a brain fart or if he didn't have the confidence to make the throw...if he simply inexplicably brain sharted then you're right its a good call and hes an idiot. We have seen a pattern of Fassel making aggressive decisions and them back firing most of the time. Its gotten old, quickly. All the great calls in the world mean nothing if these guys can't execute. This wasn't about talent or beating your man. Just throw the damn ball. If it is a talent issue then start coaching to the level of your talent and don't make play calls they are clearly incapable of executing.

At least half the team is capable of making that throw. I don't know how anyone who had ever played QB wouldn't have the confidence to throw that ball.

And the alternative chosen was running into a pile of bodies in the middle of the field. Made no sense at all.
