Any Dak supporters trying to start a debate on whether or not he is better than a mixed bag of backups are losing the argument that Dak is a franchise QB.

Dak brought the Cowboys back TWICE before he got injured in the 3rd quarter, hence why the professionals gave Dak the win.

Yea, it should be official this off-season as I look for Cowboys to extend him. You have to get that second contract to be considered a franchise QB. Dak is deserving .

I think the bigger argument is at what level. Time will tell. But he’s proven himself to be a franchise QB.

I understand the official record since he started the game. And Dak could have certainly won the game if he had stayed in. But he didn’t . I think it’s a worthy note. And not a game I’d credit him for winning.

Dak gets the win because he was the starter. Even though we were winning and driving when he was injured, he would have also been credited with the loss if Dalton blew the game, which he almost did if not for Gallup.

Yeah? Well the defense has gotten better since Dak went down, our running game has improved as well. Dak is a QB that can win games that are not possible with our backups. Im not sure why you guys hate on him except to say you were disappointed with the pick, he doesn't have a cannon arm and you blame him for taking Romo's last chance away???

Just wondering because Dak has done nothing but win games and we can now see how important he has been to our success.

I would like to see Dak signed with a cap friendly deal but I don’t know if that can happen. But we need to be more of a balanced offense and able to score early and maintain leads instead of having long periods of not scoring even when the Dak was healthy. And I would prefer to see a new offensive coordinator that can scheme a balanced offense and run game much better than Moore can.

Romo is the root of the majority of Dak hatred. Dez is another cause but the people who were big Romo and Dez fans seem to be the worst Dak haters. They have seemingly taken a vow to hate everything about Dak and compliment nothing, while going to bat for low quality QBs just because they aren’t Dak.

you are in a large part very right. To be fair many on the Dak train were ready to move on from Romo myself included
