lmao, super stats lost smith a couple of years back and went into shell shock for the last half of that season and half of the next. he better be glad he messed up his ankle or he would be in a fetial position during the games. if he hasn't got the glitch, he sure as crap has extreme fear from pressure.

With Dak, this team had the #1 Offense...by far!

Where is this Offense now behind Dalton, DiNucci and Gilbert? Zeke is still here and healthy. Why hasn't the Offense produced the way it did with Dak now that other QBs have taken over...and with Zeke still here?

It's because it is clear as day who actually carried this team......Dak!

And you sound ridiculously even more foolish by refusing to admit that but instead still bash Dak.
Dak didnt carry jack ****

This team was getting its boot’s smoked, and Dak padded his numbers against some horrible secondaries and ultimately failing.

The Falcons and Seahawks have the two worst passing defenses in the league. Every QB is getting off on them this season.

The Browns are ranked 21st in passing yards given up. Your boy had 51 yards of offense for about two straight quarters before padding his stats once again in the 4th..

How many times does this have to be explained???? When he played against the Rams, he didnt do crap in the second half.

You fools live in an alternate reality, I swear

We'll see, maybe he shines next year for the Jags? It will be interesting to see if the FO screws up the 2 - 1st round picks we get for him.
How can you get 2 first round picks for Dak if he will no longer be under contract after this season is over?:confused:o_O

So you wasted your time finding a video when I have already laid out to you exactly how the team under Dak has performed.

He was average against the Rams. Looked great against a horrible Falcons secondary. Went most of the Browns game without doing crap until the 4th quarter, then threw the game sealing pick. And looked trash against a bad NY Giants team until Andy came in and saved him.

He isnt good.

Your lies mean nothing. Everything is on the video I posted. The video doesn't lie. You do.

Yeah? Well the defense has gotten better since Dak went down, our running game has improved as well. Dak is a QB that can win games that are not possible with our backups. Im not sure why you guys hate on him except to say you were disappointed with the pick, he doesn't have a cannon arm and you blame him for taking Romo's last chance away???

Just wondering because Dak has done nothing but win games and we can now see how important he has been to our success.
My issue with Dak revolves around his performance against decent teams. 9 freaking points against the Saints and Eagles last year and looking impotent after the opening drive against the Bills and Bears. Then surely when you think he will get the much needed win against the awful jets and he lays an egg. But this isn't just last year. We saw in the Atlanta game how Dak performs when the oline is like it is now. He was raped in Denver. Then the Chargers throttle him. That opening game in Carolina he looked like a confused pup. The best NFL QBs have a few bad games but Dak has too many games he is laying eggs. Combine that with his poor redzone passing TD percentage and his accuracy explains it all.
Dak needs #1 draft picks across the offense to make it work and had a 10 to 12th ranked defense last year and now we're told he needs a top defense. I don't remember any great QBs in the NFL getting pansed so many times and people still thinking they are a top 8 QB.

Daks is certainly better than our backups

Not sure how many times the obvious needs to be stated, but anyone trying compare production vs those pass defenses from Seattle, Atlanta and Cleveland (before they got healthier) .....the 3 worst pass Ds in the NFL early in the year........are completely comparing apples and oranges.

who you play matters.

When our offense with Dak faced LA and New York, they were much more pedestrian.

btw, the top pass defense in the NFL, statistically, is Washington’s.

We played them twice without Dak.

its like bragging about putting up numbers vs Texas Techs pass defense, and comparing them to output vs Alabama’s.

Dak Prescott had about 200 yards, and 2 TDs in the first quarter of the Browns game...I think a franchise record for 1st quarter production.

So your constant lies: "Went most of the Browns game without doing crap until the 4th quarter..." needs to stop.

Transition tag.
I forgot about that transition tag, but Jerry previously refused to use it before he placed the first franchise tag on Dak before the 2020 season for a reason: Jerry was not willing to allow Dak to leave to another team. Jerry loves Dak and wants to keep him, injured leg included, so don't get your hopes up thinking Jerry will suddenly use a transition tag on Dak this time around (likely thought is because of Dak's injury). It's just not going to happen. Jerry sees how important Dak truly is to this team (post-injury). He's especially not going to allow Dak to leave for another team IF Dak proves to team doctors that his leg is healing well and able to play on it come March 2021 in a few months.

How many QB's can win games with 2 secs before someone is in your face? I think you can look at stats and see that when a QB is sacked 4 or more times, their numbers are not so good. Check AR, DB, TB12 and others you put in the top 8. Now, do some win? Yes but that depends on the OC and adjusting to the changing environment for anyone not mentioned above... because those top tier QBs pretty much call their own plays.

Incorrect.

“In the NFL, the starting quarterback is the only position that is credited with records of wins and losses.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Football_League_career_quarterback_wins_leaders

This is why Dak’s record is 2-3 this year as you can see from PFF

So let me ask you this: If Dak were the starting QB and gets taken out the very first play of the game, then you would consider that him winning the game as well? Andy gave Dak the win on paper, but logically the quarterback that throws the game winning touchdown, is who won the game. The NFL Stat/rules has more to do with making sure that the Franchise Quarterback of teams gets the credit on paper, since people generally don't care about the backups. Usually it is assumed that when the starting QB goes down that there goes the game and season. Logically, Dak couldn't won the game once he got injured because at that point the game is out of his hands and he went out early enough that if he didn't come back it would be expected for us to lose. But sure people can use some NFL Technicality to not use logic and go with something that makes them feel good about their hero. But like I said, look at what is behind the rule and why it is like it is.

The NFL is all about the QB. And once Dak went down we have been terrible at the most important position. They are 1-5 as a group, and all but two of those games have been blowout losses including two beatdowns by lowly Washington.

Next year Dak will hopefully be back and at least we can be competitive in every game and hopefully win half of them.

That’s about all we can hope for, since this is a bad team with bad coaching.

No doubt we're better with Dak, but when you are down to almost all backups on your offensive line and your defense is a sieve, you are not going to win many games. Most NFL teams need a quality QB, but the game is and will always remain a team game, and our team is bad right now.

Conclusion: Once again Jerry has built a completely QB dependent team. His teams cannot win w/o a top 10 (or so) QB. He needs QB's who can bail him out, because his teams are always majorly deficient in one area or another. Or both.

Steelers, Saints, even the Texans the other year were able to win games w/ mediocre backups. We cannot. Why? Because we have a crapp GM who doesn't even try to understand NFL football and what it takes to compete for a championship.

You might be forgetting that we're losing backups to the backups?

The o-line was better when Dak played...and they still got Dak injured escaping an f-d up pocket. It's even worse now.

It seems like a lifetime ago but with Dak the Cowboys had the #1 ranked offense, and no team was even close to them.

Of course even that wasn’t enough to cover the terrible defense, special teams, and coaching.

Did the NFL change it's rules recently where having the #1 ranked offense gets you a playoff berth? Flogging this #1 ranked offense that would simply go on vacation for long periods of the game and then wake up in the last minute to pour on the yards is a bloody joke. Dak Prescott is a serviceable QB who is entirely average in every way. He is never going to be Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes and isn't the guy you count on to bring you back to win games week after week, especially against the good to great teams. He will beat up on bad teams all day long and will win those. Good luck if that is what you want for the next 5 years.
