If you haven't found this out in 20 years, nothing's going to convince you.

Jerry doesn't know how to construct a team, pay the approach players or pick the right coaches.

It's not going to change until he's not owner and general manager.

We're looking at a Kansas City Chiefs, NY Jets, Minnesota Vikings type futility.
Oops! Meant "appropriate" players.

Your a glass fully empty type of person.
Hey Rockport, keep your head buried in the sand. Last weeks victory against the Vikings looks really smart doesn’t it?
When will clueless fans understand it was a lost season from the start. The footballs gods gave us a chance to go 2-14 and draft a Dak replacement.

This is where we need an objective voice in the building that can determine the future path for the franchise. Instead, we have biased, eternal optimists who are quite literally high-fiving themselves.

We’ve got disastrous contracts in Elliott and Jaylon Smith, an aging and suddenly injury prone offensive line, a porous coaching staff, and a huge fork-in-the-road decision at QB — all compounded by a high draft pick looming.

I fully expect this front office to make an ill-sighted, short-term decision with the draft pick. They’re going to think things will be hunky dory in 2021 as our team returns from injury.

It is painful to watch the same in game decision mistakes being made throughout the year.
His inability to properly scheme effectively and lack of general team preparation on a weekly basis just jumps off the screen.

This will continue. It is NOT just an injury issue.
And if it's Moore's offense, Nolan's defense and Fassel's Special teams, McCarthy's role in all of this is what again?
Inquiring minds want to know, lol.

There is not a single positive in the entire organization right now that points to anything changing. Not one.

the roster is average to below average, the front office is lousy and the two guys at the top are a complete disaster.

I fully expect a tiny desk press conference from one of these two in the near future. They are that bad

Me too...It's late but I finally have come to terms that Jerry Jones is a major choker..he does well for his family financially but for his fans he's a greedy, selfish no good SOB.
Yep. I quit buying merchandise many years ago, but not watching this year has put me in a much better mood.

Of course I come here many times a day to read about everything, but that's much less stressful for me than to watch that mess.

We have a senile owner, a penny-pinching son, a con-man head coach, an aging roster littered with poor contracts, an inability to draft properly on one side of the ball, and an improving division. Where is the hope?
nah we bounce back and have great 2021

If things look so bad to you, you can always find a different team to be a fan of that do things the way you like.

Hedge fund guy is desperate to own the Dallas Cowboys and willing to pay any price to rid us of the Jones plague?

For all you that want someone to buy the Cowboys from Jones just remember some new owners do have a history of moving the team to another city at some point. That might not make any difference to those of you that don't live in the Metroplex, but the millions of fans that do it would be a huge thing.

That requires 24 other owners signing off on it. No chance that happens. Also the last plumb market LA has been filled. Nope the Jones has family has to go for this franchise to move forward, And yeah I know, zero chance it happens.

Dak was lighting it up each week he will be back. So will all the hurt players. You can't win in this league with subpar QBing and more UDFA's forced into starting each week. It's easy to see how this team will be significantly better next year.

not with a healthy Dak....our OTs back and an infusion of talented rookies.
the experience Brandon Knight and Terrence Steele are getting will only be better for our depth.
we also found a S in Donovan Wilson.
there is much to be excited about moving forward.
health will do wonders for this roster.

Yep. This season more so than any other reminds me of 1997, except we don’t have any Super Bowls to show for the freshly shut window.

As a franchise we’re about where the Raiders were from 2008-2011.

Dark times indeed.

Take a hard look at these two because it's not going to get any better until they either sell this team or they have both died from boredom after running this team into the ground.
