Smith hands down number one on the list.
Agreed he’s a cancer to this team.

So he gets an interception thrown right at him and almost scores. Great!!!

When the defense goes back on the field right after on 3 consecutive plays you have Smith posturing after each stop.

For anyone that has played this game at any level that only gives the opposing team players additional motivation.
It’s okay to high five, whatever after a big stop but to stop and posture raising one arm like some conqueror, that belongs in the WWE

Funny thread but not realistic as much as I’d like to take out the trash were stuck with zeke and Jaylon

this team on defense is atrocious and anyone nit named diggs, DLaw , Gregory and perhaps LVE should not be starting
Wilson still needs time but I can see a bit of potential there
We need to getter more talent in defense total rebuild there
Offensively we need health more than anything. The boys have been relatively healthy in offense up to this year but boy are they getting popped this year

we do need a LT as Tyron can’t be trusted. He’s turned into Romo
Yesterday’s game has made me come to realize that if Zach Martin cannot return then maybe we’d be best taking Sewell or Parsons or even trading down

if zack can return I’m still undecided .

Zeke annoys the crap out of me but we’re stuck with him and he can still get yards
Daks coming back most likely he brings a better threat than what we have now(at least b4 injury)
These crucial drops by our WR is just the worst
And lastly the coaching staff leaves a lot to be desired I’m bout done with Moore time to move on
Cant even address the two dipsticks that pay the bills as they ain’t selling

...this guy has been called dumb....and now he is a cancer.....wow.....and he takes all the heat for a terrible defense. Where's Lee to save the day?

Let’s start with Zeke and Jaylon

I think Jaylon and Zeke are the only guys we have to cut in March to avoid guaranteeing more money.

We don't have to cut Crawford, but we shouldn't be wasting snaps on him either. We should be playing young guys instead. He shouldn't be here next year.

Maybe we cut Brown next year, but there's no rush. 4.25mil next year. Not expensive. He's the kind of veteran CB we'd be signing for insurance anyway.

We're not stuck with Zeke. We can and should move on.

We *will* be stuck with Zeke if we let his 2022 salary guarantee in March. 2021 is *already* guaranteed.

Take the sunk cost out of it.

Pretend you're a fan on another team, and you could get Zeke for 2021 and 2022 by guaranteeing his 2022 money.

Would you?

Not me. He's a declining power back who is having trouble holding onto the ball.

We shouldn't take that deal either.

I’m not a cap expert but with having to resign Dak how can you take additional cap penalties ?

Again we can what zeke does by pretty much 10-15 backs so getting rid of him don’t bother me a bit but the stupidity was extending him to begin with now in a low cap year it’s harder to get out of it and jaylons in the same discussion

You simply have to get rid of these guys. These players (Crawford, Zeke, Jaylon, Gregory, Woods) are defining everything that is wrong with this team and franchise. You saw how quickly our free agent class packed it in. It is obvious how things work around here. If you are one of Jerrys boys you get everything. You get playing time. You get big contracts. you get deals outside of football. Whatever you want. These players absolutely stink week after week and nothing changes.

1. Woods - even with a limited roll, he still constantly lets the RB gain the edge over him near the goal line. He is ineptitude is what will be his downfall

2. Awuzie - No hustle. No heart. And just overall bad. Always a tick late. Never on time. Playing not to get hurt it seems like.

3. Jaylon Smith - Just is not the player we thought he could be. He just doesn’t get it...you can’t give these RBs a head of steam before they hit the gap you gotta get in there are clog those gaps. Doesn’t seem to me like players on the team are responding well to his leadership.

4. Jordan Lewis - Just Never panned out. Don’t think he has wanted to be here for years now. Remember Dez practice “you can’t guard me. You can’t guard me. You can’t guard me.” Lewis took it too heart and got toasted by Dez. He never wanted the smoke and we still gave it to him. He never wanted on this team.

5. MCarthy - and his entire staff. For pulling one of the greatest Heists of all time. “I only said that to get the job.” Smh.

I’d start with those guys...then I’d trim all the fat. Guys like D. Thompson, T. Crawford...

The Jones family.

In reality that’s the only think that will work.

I agree with all the cuts except Gregory. I also want them to put Williams at T. Please just give it a shot.

Resigning Dak allows us to lower his cap hit a ton.

The dead cap we owe on Zeke and Jaylon is a matter of accounting. We can kick that can down the road only by wasting more money on them. It's just throwing good money after bad. Better to push out money on guys we're keeping.

More likely we drop Jaylon than Zeke.

They can talk themselves into Zeke because we're "getting two seasons for one" since 2021 is already guaranteed. Trouble is, the next two years of Zeke still aren't worth guaranteeing his 2022 salary.
