I didn’t have false hopes after watching this team, it was more so after week 11 there was a level set with how everyone was playing

And yes the Commanders have a good defense but their offense is garbage....and yeah everything changed after wr lost the olmen in the first series...I get it, not my first rodeo
Nope...don't even try. It's all your fault & you know it. j/k

If there's any consolation to all the injuries, it's getting a chance to evaluate our depth and/or question mark players, and frankly there are some answers we can feel good about going into 2021.

** Wilson could be a real starter at SS
** McGovern has shown he can compete for the starting G position
** LVE is showing the neck issue may finally be fixed
** Schultz has certainly proved he's a starter
** Martin proved he can move to tackle and STILL play at a high level
** Biadasz locked down the starting C position as a rookie
** Galimore (ms) can certainly compete for 2021 starting DT position
** Randy Gregory has been damn near unstoppable the last 2 games.
** In the addition by subtraction category only Diggs, Brown and Wilson are 2021 returning secondary players, the rest are gone if you ask me.

** Finally, I'd like to see Gilbert start at 1-2 more games. We need to know if he can truly replace Dalton.

i am not sure the last almost thirty years have shown u what jerry and son can do and so thats not a pretty picture until they hire a real nfl gm and football people to run the team i fear the dallas cowboys are what they are going to be in the future i have gotten to the point where i really just dont care much any more if the losing continues when the older group of fans are going the cowboys will simply be a bottom of the barrel franchise its really depressing and has been for some time now

Yesterday’s loss hurt really bad for many, we had everything setup, we’re picked to win, national stage....and got embarrassed

Many young fans are going to remember screaming at the tv and have a negative view...we’re losing a generation of cowboys fans here.

What’s next? Hope for losses? Hope for competitive games? Hope for wins? Feels like we have 5 games that can’t end soon enough.

luckily my kids are 6 4 and 4 months so they can be swayed by jerseys and good food....but for those of you with kids in the 10s to teens what are you doing to keep them engaged?

what’s next? As fans do we give up on this year and look to next) is there even a next to be excited about or are we too far out.

It took me many years to get my son to become a fan. He hadn't had the experience of spending his early years with me, since his mother and I were divorced during some of his formative years. He moved in with me at age 18 and watched them only upon occasion.

Now, he's a full-grown man and all and we spend most Sundays together watching the Cowboys games. He's still not nearly the fan that I am but he's gradually getting more into them, as his favorite team to watch, even though they lose more than some can readily tolerate.

If your young kids value your company and like watching TV, they should gradually get used to seeing enough of the C'boys that they'll quite possibly get used to seeing enough of them to gradually like watching them with their dad, i.e., yourself. If they see you getting angry and frustrated, they'll may see fit to take it as their clue to either do the same or avoid watching them lose altogether. Kids are funny that way. If you avoid demonstrations of anger, they'll likely enjoy it more. At least that's been my experience, through the years with my son.

After so many years of ineptitude and the Joneses trying to put a thong on a warthog, anyone that put their hopes on this team and this season is just feeding their masochistic tendencies.

It was just like all of those attempts to sell themselves that this team had done anything to address the defense.

Far too many in denial every off season.

I don't expect miracles for next year, nor do I have high hopes for a deep plunge into the postseason anytime soon, either. Nowadays, I'm content to sit in front of my TV watching the 'Boys for the sole purpose of entertainment. Longing endlessly in hopes of a return to the glory days isn't any source of satisfaction! It's far better to keep it real, than to be left behind, hoping for unlikely gratification to be granted. ;)

Well, we start by welcoming back all the posters that said they were leaving the team.

The pain is only as bad as when it's being experienced so new year, new hope.

This has been a season unlike any other because this one forces us to shelve emotion and look at this objectively with every challenge or obstacle the team faced and it looked like an 8-8 team before the QB went down and he was actually doing what we said he couldn't do, carrying the team.

This has been a wasted season and a do over for everyone is needed, including the fans.

yeah but that’s the sad thing, I don’t want my kids to be band wagoners but I worry they will lose interest on a loser
Eh, right now my 15 yo is a Dallas fan. If he loses interest in the Cowboys and chooses to follow another team, so be it. It's just a game and I would get a lifetime of talking crap to him over his decision. LOL.

"We" are going to watch Wentz fumble/toss picks tonight while he loses yet another game & his job to the young rookie, Hurts. How appropriate is that name?!

Absolutely, we must guard our beloved offspring with blessed protection from the slings and arrows of pulling for unsavory teams! ;)
