We are a 3-8 team.
Decimated by injuries.
Displaying a historically awful D.
Dogged continually by self-defeating mistakes and fundamental errors.
Saddled by an arrogant, stubborn Front Office.
Hindered by a number of bad long term contracts.
Led by an ineffective coaching staff.
Facing a number of massive decisions this offseason.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being high), my confidence level in the leadership of this team is 1.7. Just don’t see much hope for this franchise to turn it around. They are overmatched across the board.
Everyone can see, the only way to restore confidence is to make a genuine change at GM. New philosophy. New decision structure. New focus. Ruthless change. Happens in the business world all the time.
But we all know this owner lacks the sack to do what ACTUALLY is required to be done to fix the root of the issue.
Barring McClay getting promoted to GM and JJ officially retiring, this purgatory is guaranteed to continue un-abated.
