-----Yea as a fan I am done. I have watched very little football this season and frankly as a Cowboys fan I am done until Jerry Jones dies. The franchise is toast under this insane man's direction and I am done watching this garbage.

I will keep watching, but I agree 100% with the rest.....except it will take both Jerrah and Stephen dying before anything changes....Stephen's IQ points seem to be dropping yearly.

We were a damn good team in 2016 and a pretty good team in 2018 (after trading for Cooper).

In 2017 and 2019 we were average.

But by all means, let’s keep pretending we’re some sad-sack organization like the Browns who haven’t been to the playoffs in 15+ years.

I’d put my money on you being one of these “everyone gets a trophy” people. Because we made it to a playoff, we won something??? *** is wrong with you people. We are the Dallas freaking Cowboys. One of the greatest organizations in pro sports since the inception of pro sports, but a LOSING franchise for 26 years. More than a quarter century without competing for a championship. One of the worst teams in the NFL for the same amount of time. Buttttttt , it’s ok because we’ve went to a couple wildcard games. Hahahahshshaha, thanks for the laugh.

You could have made you comment much shorter by just saying you're fair weather fan.
.
.
There’s nobody on this site, who’s a fair weather fan. Comments like this prove your intelligence. There hasn’t been fair weather for this team in 26 years. ZERO, NONE!! If someone says they are a Dallas Cowboys fan, believe them. Why would they admit it, unless they were a real fan. We openly cheer for a losing franchise. One of the worst franchises in professional sports. That’s about as good of fan as there is

Try thinking before commenting. Neither Jones will be around for 75 more years so maybe think a little first. What I'm saying is as bad as the Cubs were and as long as their fans which were generational and every year went to games and supported them, had to wait for a championship, and then there are people here, not using the word fan, that are acting like spoiled little kids and if the Cowboys aren't winning I'm going to whine and then take my ball and go home.

True but we are all pissed but the OP is wrong and emotional it happens i do believe minus the 17+ injuries' to key positions we are 10-6 no problem next season..

if fans cant see that this is not normal and cant be planned for and add in 2020s factors , well they just chose to be "that guy" when posting..

In watching Dallas football since the early 70s, I have never seen this many injuries in the trench. Add in the QB, covid, new system, new schemes and coaches it was deadly cauldron of a tornado, earthquake, mudslide and hurricane all in one stadium. This is not the same rinse and repeat.
  1. s.

:) credit for saying that without using the phrase "perfect storm"

Some of us have been here for a long time and not trying to take our ball and go anywhere. Fans are upset but are still here talking Cowboys. This mentality of some fans here that they are better fans because they are okay with ineptness is laughable.

The Cubs were the "lovable losers" before they allowed new leadership (Theo Epstein) to come in and build a championship roster. I'd be down for that.

We totally whiffed on the free agent *starters* we signed for the defense, *and* tanked or got injured almost across the board on every veteran of any projected quality but DLaw and XWoods.

Goodell Sucks:
Goodell screws Gregory by delaying his reinstatement so he misses the first 6 games.

Player Eval:
McCoy, Poe, Griffen, Dix. They were supposed to be quality players to help carry the rest. Nope.
Jaylon's performance continued its slide from 2019 into 2020, and most likely Jerry is forcing him onto the field.

Injuries:
LVE, Lee injured the first half of the season, Awuzie and Brown miss most of it as well.
McCoy and Lee were both predictable. LVE was iffy as well for the neck, but that wasn't the problem.

Nolan is taking the fall, but we lost the defense in the offseason. Poor player evaluation. Relying on old and oft injured players.

Why don't you make yourself happy and go find another team because you obviously don't like the Cowboys.
.
.
Oh grow up. You can be a fan of a team while recognizing its flaws for what they are. I'm as big of a fan of the Cowboys legacy as anybody. But all of these years of watching Jerry Jones market the crap out of this team without winning anything of significance since January 1996 is everything you need to know. It's time for a new team identity without the Joneses.

Actually, clown, YOU’RE the one who’s more into “everybody gets a trophy” if you believe a conference championship appearance is something to strive for.

MY point was that a conference championship appearance isn’t crap. We play for Super Bowl titles.

Meaning yes, we’ve failed in the last 25 years just like MOST of the NFL has failed in the last 25 years.

You’re just not bright enough to compute that mentally. Clearly.

Every team you mentioned that is doing good doesn't have a 1st year head coach and coaching staff. Those teams didn't have to learn new systems with no off season program, preseason games and a very altered training camp because they already had their systems. Also none of those teams has had as many starters injured and on IR as the Cowboys have had. Oh and that 10-0 steelers came VERY CLOSE to being beaten by this team. They escaped by the kin of their teeth. Next time when comparing compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges.
.
.

First, close is only good in horse shoes and hand grenades. Haven't you heard that expression? ;)

Second, do you REALLY think the Steelers were taking the Cowboys seriously? :lmao:

Third, Kellen Moore is not a first-year head coach. And Mike McCarthy is a veteran coach. He was limited in the same way other coaches were limited. We've had 20-plus years of futility and guys are STILL buying into excuses. Sorry, but we're out of excuses.

Wow!

That's why you sign backups who can step in and do the job.

New Orleans is down Brees. They keep winning.

Seattle's defense is crappy. They keep winning.

Arizona has a 5'5 quarterback who can't see over his line. They keep winning.

Green Bay has a suspect defense. They keep winning.

Losing Dak, who only helped us win ONE GAME, is not an excuse.

Sorry, but 20 years of futility cries out "ENOUGH WITH THE EXCUSES!"

Wow, indeed.

Just like he gave JG a pass for a decade with excuses like zekes suspension or Romo injury to keep JG around hoping he would make him look smart...he will keep Mike around because of his own ego and we will talk about injuries and COVID and everything else as to why the team was terrible again. The faster we ditch mike and Nolan and probably Kellen the faster we get back to being decent.

very true. we wouldnt be here if we were not die hard fans.
I bash the cowboys all the time , and they deserve it!! I enjoyed the minn game , got a little excited, and then they bum me out the next game!
I have never seen such bad coaching as in that game for a cowboy team, heck MM is starting to make campo look like a good coach lol.

I can't get over the fact that Jerry Jones has basically turned over the offense to a college intern. The greatest football franchise in history is being used as an elaborate experiment and a training organization for Kellen Moore.

That's like handing a Ferrari to a child who just ditched the training wheels on his bicycle.

Incredible incompetence.

yeah I can’t believe I’m saying this as I really was never sure what JG did besides walk around and clap but we looked more competent then. And thats a low bar.

Man that’s kind of depressing why even watch then? Just wait for the draft. I wanted to see if Gilbert can play, it’s kinda neat to see Lamb develop with no QB. The WRs are awesome but no one to throw to them. The OL is being held together by scotch tape, Shultz is emerging as a Dalton to Dalton combo. Greggory is making a comeback. There are things to watch.
