I'm saying it's probably because the music is so commercialized. They use it to sell merchandise, starting at around Halloween in some cases. Not only does that burn you out on the music, but it diminishes the meaning of the songs.

I listen to as much as I can. On the radio or Music Choice. I wish I could put the Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving but get out voted on that each year.

Definitely yea, during the season of course. Many Christmas tunes are actually beautiful melodies. But who doesn't love to sing along with Nat King Cole's The Christmas Song on Christmas?

To be honest, 2020 has been such a lousy year, we need a little Christmas music to break up the funk.

i've worked at a church now for 18yrs.
15yrs full-time...3 part-time.
i hate christmas.
not the reason for christmas...the real meaning of it.
what i hate is the bull-crap that has nothing to do with it.
even at a church...people suck.

Music Choice started playing Chistmas music on Sounds on the Season on Halloween night... 11 PM central time. They couldn't even be bothered to wait.

Trick-or-treating and Christmas music? Nope. Turkey dressing and Christmas carols? Nah. Fourth of July and Christmas songs? Heck no.

I'm ok with it from the 26th to New Years Day. Still the holiday season to me.
