Before Prescott went down, they were 9-11 with that #1 O so stats do not tell the entire story.

The O has seldom been the problem, except against the better teams last year.

There seems to be this flippant "just fix the D" that's been broken for decades. First, they have to consider the D on the same cap level as the O or at least close to it, and then address it with talent. Have they done that?

You start with the main problem. The GM is a follow the ball GM and has never been able to build a defense.

He had a top 5 Corner and almost everyone applauded when they let him walk this offseason.

Almost everyone applauded Zeke signing.

Cooper signing? Yay!

A lot of people applaud his moves.

I'm not defending what they've done with the defense. I'm saying Moore isn't the issue. Not sure where the hell you're coming from.

That's a fact, just like taking Lamb with that 1st pick. There is no arguing he's worth a 1st round pick but for a team needing D and still needing D, that was a luxury and an applause pick. He thought he'd really done something, catching a falling player.

I know, I am in the very small minority on that but it is indicative of how this team is run, all flash and splash.

The real problem with the Cowboys is that they have a white collar GM in a blue collar sport.

They were 1-3 when Dak was playing. Dak going down didn't destroy the season, it was already headed in that direction before that happened. Hell, even last season they only managed 8-8 with a mostly healthy roster, so how was Dak's injury so devastating?

Shhhhh....you speak too much truth. Fans want to pretend like we were headed for success before Dak went down. We picked up exactly where we left off last year, or maybe even worse.

It's foolish in second guessing and acting like you know what the hell you're talking about.

This team isn’t going anywhere. You look at the contracts we are carrying and maybe only Zack Martin’s is out performing it.

I don't really subscribe to the "mediocrity is a curse" line of thinking, especially when you have a quarterback. But I do agree with the overall point that this team can be very good, very quickly.

Next year, if healthy, the Cowboys will continue to be just as talented as any team in the NFC. You can find a couple of holes in the roster, but that's true for every team in the cap era.
Jerry has a place for you on payroll.

It's not.

You're a sucker if you think that because of some empty calorie stats.

Based on your history, Im really not concerned that you disagree with me.

I have no doubt you will get it all wrong as you always do.

Nice to see you finally came around on Zeke. At least there is that.

Wasn't just last year Garrett had this team 8 - 8. He's done so in several seasons. Fans think his decade of medicore can be fixed in a handful of games w/no practice or preseason. Not to mention all the injuries.

Well it would be quicker to just say everyone in the entire league to a degree.
Nonsense. Go ahead and go position by position for the top-5 teams in the NFC, they all have the same or worse holes the Cowboys do.

Ummm.. I was out ahead of a lot of this.. No second guessing.

Just like Dak and his future mediocre team results that he locks us into.

Myself and many others are warning about this but some of you are like “ buh buh he had lots of yards!”

Outside of the Saints considering that Brees is out, its rather obvious what all those teams have in common.
