My comment was more about people who are clinging to the narrative that Wentz is still an "elite" QB, they'll use tonight's poor performance by the Eagles OLine to give Wentz a complete free pass on how poorly he has played this season.

My guess is that he is trying to bring in Hurts to see if he can bring life to the Eagles offense without hurting Wentz's feelings or without trying to create a controversy by having to bench Wentz for another QB. And with the amount of money that they are paying Wentz they are hesitant to give up on him.

Nothing but tired excuses for this clown Wentz. The east coast media is so desperate for him to be good. They want him to be good. He plays in Philly. ESPN is located on the east coast and they dictate so much of the narrative from the media. Wah wah wah they need better players, OL, everything. Good WRs aren't going to make his throws and decision making better.

He sucks. No way around it.

Exactly. Except having him just run gadget plays isn’t really giving him a chance to help the Eagles offense. Let the kid run a series of competitive plays and see what you’ve got.

Seeing how awful the NFC east is especially the Eagles and yet the Cowboys are the worst out of all of them. Injuries or no injuries this is just a poorly run organization from top to bottom and total embarrassment to a once great franchise.

Wentz is capable of greatness. He seems to throw 2-3 great wow passes per game, and I was impressed last year when he passed for 4,000 yards with just TEs and RBs, but if he goes down the toilet, it will be what Philly deserves for not protecting him with an OL and receivers. He’s definitely getting the David Carr treatment right now.

Doubt it. They are still a game ahead of us and they beat us. All we need to do is lose to them later this season and we will be fine. Dalton is a better QB than Wentz so that worries me.

i might get some bad replys for this but this is what i fear might happen if the cowboys sign prescott long term. he might end up the way wentz is going and really screw over this team in the salary cap. those numbers espn showed for his contract means the eagles have no choice but keep wentz one more year.
