The draft that will always stick with me was in 2004. We needed a running back so bad. It was one the most pressing needs at the time. There was no way in hell Steven Jackson was going to drop to us at 22. My heart sake when traded back. The first and last official draft parties I ever went to lol.

Bledsoe was washed up then and Romo had not played a snap. Rodgers should have been drafted.

Yes, hindsight is a genius way think. I’m sure Bills, and Raiders and Bears etc.. fans say the same thing now.

It’s not really hindsight. Like Moss you don’t pass up top rated prospect that drops in your lap.

Parcells also turned Steven Jackson into Marcus Spears and Julius Jones. I still haven't gotten over that asshattery.

Aaron Rodgers. Quincy Carter was our quarterback when we passed on Rodgers. The big tuna should have been fired for that mistake alone. We passed on Rodgers twice.

the fact we could've had both Dware and Rodgers in the same draft is crazy

For me it was absolutely not taking TJ Watt and instead took Taco.

I don't want to hear Zeke over Ramsey. Not even in the same realm. Zeke was dang near MVP level for his first 2 years. Especially 2016. Immediately propelled us to what should have been a SB appearance.

Taco was an enormous bust. TJ Watt is a stud.

RG3 was supposed to be the greatest player of all time. LOL, what a bust.

My point is allot of teams did though. It’s hard to blame the Cowboys for doing something allot of other teams did. Aaron Rodgers is a clinical sociopath. Maybe that was a red flag back then idk. I mean we now know sociopaths can win SBs, but we didn’t know that at the time.

3 chances at Joe Montana
I was going to say him also but Brady in where he was pick and how many SBs he has won and been in was just too much. Joe Montana IMO was the greatest qb of all time until Brady came along.

Moss? I think you guys are nuts. Ellis was a very good player for a long time. Moss isn't even in the conversation!!!

Joe Montana
Ed Reed(Took Roy Williams)
Steven Jackson
Sean Alexander and Koren Robinson(Picked w/ the 1sts given up in the Galloway trade)
Ekubn

Lafleur
Shante Carver
Danny Noonan
Kevin Brooks
Morris Claiborne

Moss doesn't even make the top 10, maybe not the top 20. Did y'all forget Bobby Carpenter? Moss is just name recognition.

My thoughts exactly. It hurts to think about how a player like moss may have impacted this team, but you still ended up with a pro bowl caliber player.

the taco pick not only missed out on a top player, but you completely missed on your pick.

2012 hurt pretty bad too. Not sure who they would have taken over no Claiborne but with keuchly, Gillmore, Poe all in the board it looks really bad.
Fletcher Cox!!!

The Mo tradeup set us back badly. And if we don't trade up at all, we end up w/ Brockers and Bobby Wagner. Wagner is only the best MLB in the NFL!!
